| I normally HATE such happy endings, but I was hoping for this ending since Nagisa's "death". One word: amazing. Clannad is definitely one of the best I've ever seen :) |

| Why did he deserve a happy ending? Because he went through a lot of hardship. That hardship is now gone, so it doesn't really matter. That's why Nagisa should have stayed dead, and a Ushio should have come back to life (at least that...I would have preferred that if they were going to kill someone, keep them dead, the Tomoya could have committed suicide, and then this show would have left a much better taste in my mouth). We just went back in time 4 or 5 years for God's sake! |

| I liked this episode from the start to the point before they showed Fuuko. The ending would of been alot better, and more satisfying to the feeling, if they hadn't showed Fuuko. Why? Well because her character just ruined the happy and warm ending. |

| Just realized a plothole you could drive a truck through. How did Nagisa know the story about the girl in the other world? Where did she learn it, how did she know how it would progress in season 1? Tomoya knowing the story is one thing, but how in the hell did Nagisa know about it as she has no connection to the parallel world? |

The only way they could do a third season would be by animating Tomoyo After, which couldn't be considered a continuation in any way, seeing how it would be a completely different story that directly contradicts just about everything that happened after Clannad episode 16... Well, except that Tomoyo-OVA, which is the only reason why I'd consider a Tomoyo After-anime to be even remotely possible. ...Also, they'll probably announce a Little Busters-anime or a Planetarian-movie after episode 23/24. ...Anyway, I LOVED the ending. It was everything I could have hoped for, only carried out even better than I had imagined it. (Because I had pretty much assumed all along that this is how it would end.) |

| omg that was such an awesome ending, i don't mind how it was unrealistic cause clannad was never really a series based on that anyways now unlike some other series, the characters weren't killed off just to make it seem all sad and angst for the "dramatic" impact, so i really really love the ending and how tomoya, nagisa and ushio can be a happy family =) <3 <3 hm about the fuuko thing, i would have prefered it showed more of the family's bliss and it was kinda weird how fuuko got to end off the series but i don't mind, she was absent for most of the series anyways so i guess she should get a larger part in the ending |

| Epic disapointment. The whole "lol magic fixed everything" ruined it. The balls of light had played no real role in the anime so far other than some side mentions and then suddenly they come out of nowhere and fix everything. The ending could have been happy without going that far overboard with it. |
| My only regret with After Story is that we don't get much time after good end with the family (though I'm not surprised). I doubt a DVD-only OAV will give us that either, but still, After Story on multiple occasions made me tear up, which is something no show has done even once in several years, and so it gets the 19th '10' out of 451 entries so far. |

| Wow... Greatest disappointment for me ever. I hated this episode so much. I feel betrayed. Are they trying to tell us that everything that happened before was nothing but lies? I expected something that would touch me like the episode 18, look what they give us.Sad ;;. |

| I think that with this episode, you either love it or you hate it. Regardless of if you understand everything, somethings, nothing. From the beginning I knew this would be one of my favorite series so I'm glad to say I loved it. |

| I really enjoyed the series overall, this ending is EPIC in every way possible, but I do think with either ending It is still one of the best anime I've watched. Hell if you don't like the ending pretend episode 21 was the ending :P |

| So there is a recreated world..it's nice to see that Nagisa is healthy and alive. I have to compliment on her hair. She looks very mature. Lol, Mei-chan grew to be a hot babe. The short scene of Tomoyo is epic. I missed the gang. I think that they should have a reunion or whatever. Looks like I guessed wrong. So the girl from the other world was Ushio. I thought it was Nagisa since season 1. I wished for a more dynamic and happy end but still it shall receive my 10/10. Ending was only a 9/10 but I'll give 10/10 overall. |
| Pure awesomeness. Girl and robot stuff is clear now, and it was nice to see alternative happy ending. Everything from Tomoya running after Nagisa was absolutely beautiful. It was nice to see all the characters again, and grown-up Mei was something ^_- Man this show was epic. *stands and applauds* One more episode to go |

| hated this episode... going back in time totally just voided all the raw emotion from the past few episodes. i liked the flash forward seeing how everybody else was doing, and the end with fuko and ushio was nice. |

| It was an OK episode, but the ending was only good because it wasn't sad. Soooo happy that it was a happy ending (was all the stuff after Nagisa's death a dream then?). |
