About Me
I would much rather watch shounen anime and read shoujo manga than vice versa. This is because shounen manga is static, in black and white and lacks sound. Furthermore the battles are much more difficult to follow since all you see is like explosions and lines. Anime resolves all of these problems and makes fights much more entertaining to watch.
On the other hand, I like to read shoujo manga because most of the story goes through dialogue and events which can be drawn in panels and don't require animation to express these things. Critical moments can be shown through single static images which can express the intended emotions easily. I like pictures only in black and white because it requires greater detailing in regards to things like shade and texture to make up for the lack of colour.
There is only one genre of anime which i can not stand. The moe slice of life, parody, comedy retarded waste of time that which is found in the following and those similar to it: lucky star, minami ke, kei on, azumanga daioh etc etc.
There are only 2 exceptions which i have really enjoyed: Ouran and Seto no Hanayome
I love characters who are super intelligent, calculating and somewhat mysterious where you never know what they are thinking about.
I'm gay and i'm into yaoi. I prefer good story > art > xxx in that order.
I rank 7 as being average
