| Lelouch, I think the world is bigger than you thought in R1. It was peaches and cream when you were up against the Area 11 government and nobody else, but there are far too many variables in R2 for you to handle alone. Remember how you were able to take Kallen, Ougi, Diethard, Rakshata, the Kyoto Group, Toudou, and so many others as allies without even using the Geass? Why did you think it wouldn't have been a profitable idea to similarly take Xingke as an ally? |
| Good episode. Really disappointed to see Kallen capture - but I'm sure she'll be recovered soon. Lelouch seems to be getting himself into some bad situations lately, and I'm totally amazed that he got back into the school (probably a recording or something). |

| This may sound strange but i love the few moments when Zero FAILS. He may be an evil genius but he cant outsmart everyone all the time... It wouldnt' be fun if he could, plus it makes him look more human as opposed to some robot xD Also, SO MUCH SHIT HAPPENS IN THIS EPISODE!! (I have a hard time keeping up lol) And how the hell did Lelouche get back to school so quickly! I demand an explanation! |

| Gh-h-h-h-h-h-h-h-h-h, things are so unnerving at this point, I can barely wait until tomorrow to see the next episode. And bring that knightmare with you.." But damn, Lelouch is facing against all odds of winning. Also, choosing the name "Axis Powers" is a massive lapse of judgement, considering that history repeats itself.... |

Yeah maybe that's simplifying the situation a little, but I thought of the same thing too. Aside from that, I wouldn't Xing-ke is much smarter than Lulu, maybe they're on the same level, idk, but the using the terrain thing only worked because he was in familiar territory. Lulu might've seen that they were going to use the water, but he would never have known that it would cause some sort of quicksand thing to occur because he doesn't know the place like Xing-ke does. Anyways, this episode kind of bored me since unfortunately I was never too into mech battles anyways. |

| I started watching Code Geass last week and I really liked the first season. However, after some ridiculous plot twists started to show up, I wondered if it could get any more absurd. I consider the 1 million Zero cosplay, the "kill all japanese" accidental geass usage, the uncountless number of geass users and the rewriting of Lelouch memory so Britannia could get to C.C really bad writing moves. There were so many ways the plot could be moved forward, but I'm under the impression that the writers chose the easiest in all these cases. Lelouch seems like a whole different character. He looked like a very intelligent person in the first season, but in R2, he's in a stupidity spree that maddens me. This episode was no different from the previous ones. Why couldn't Lelouch just work along with Xing-Ke? I really hope the series gets better from now onward, because, otherwise, I will feel really misplaced. What's so great about it? Why people praise it so much? |

| Lol Lelouch knows teleportation now. As for Suzaku, it was explained a couple episodes back that he wants to learn if Zero meant to force Euphemia to kill the Japanese because he doesn't want to believe that Lelouch wanted to use his Geass on her like that. |
| I've been a big fan of these past two episodes. Definitely landing on strong footing after that silly Spartacus stunt. Xing-ke's motivations as a character are so much clearer to me now. As is the Eunuchs and Empress plot in general. And he's got a bad ass new mech to boot. It was kind of frustrating watching him mess up Zero's plans. When anyone could have seen where this was headed. The Eunuchs betray him and he teams up with Zero against them. But it was still a well told story, that added a lot of depth to Xing-ke and the Chinese Federation side of the story. It's a bummer Kallen got kidnapped. I'm starting to see Diethard becoming a problem. He's a little too utilitarian. And plus a lot of the Black Knights already don't like him. Seems to me he made the right call here though. Things couldn't go too smoothly for this ridiculous plan, retreat was the best option. I hope Lelouch gets Kallen back by the end of this arc. Not trying to see her get brainwashed or something and now he has to fix that. His situation seems pretty hopeless right now. Especially without Kallen and the Guren. But a big opportunity did present himself, and considering it's the only one you know he has to take it. I imagine there's a pretty simple explanation for how there can be a Lelouch just chilling back at school. So I don't know why they teased it like a cliffhanger. |

| That was a really nice skirmish, probably my favorite CG episode so far. Something is odd though, why is Lelouch in School? I can't think of anyone who could be the double (except Villeta but it's highly unlikely that it's her). |
