| Well overall I enjoyed the first episode. It's nothing too serious and should be some relaxing fun. At least the lead isn't the only one in the dark regarding what this Kämpfer battle is all about. I'm sure he'll be glad when he can control the transformation so he can go to the guy's washroom. I'd say Natsuru's voice felt off when I first heard it. But by the end of the episode I was fairly used to his male voice. At least his female voice fits well so should be alright all things considered. For some reason Akane's Kämpfer side was one of the high points for me. Not a bad person when she's not trying to shoot you. |
| It's not like this is the worst show I've seen. Kinda entertaining actually, even if in a stupid way. I would call it Akikan with proper graphics I would make animated avatars from the ED, but that place is reserved for the ultimate show.. |

| so the first episode is finally released and subbed, i just watched it now and to me it wasnt awesome and it didnt suck. it was just how i was expecting it to be like since i didnt really have high hopes for this series. im still kinda looking forward to the next episode since they did a good job ending the episode with a pretty good cliffhanger and kinda making it so that the viewers would want to come back at least to see what is going to happen. id say id give this first episode a 3/5 but this is just for the first episode. i hope to see it get better but if it stays the same as it is rite now and doesn't get worse then ill be happy with this anime anyway. |

| Aye, well this was an entertaining first episode and it was enough to keep me interested and wanting to watch more. The story isn't very captivating but it was quite funny and the fights were okay. Animation doesn't seem to be anything special, but it wasn't bad. Didn't really like the OP but the ED was pleasant... :3 I'll watch next episode. |

| The introduction felt a little rushed...at least for someone who hasn't read any of the manga. I actually though it was funny, for the most part. It's like they know it's nothing special so they make fun of it. |

| It's not that bad. The jokes were funny and most of the voices were quite fitting. Action will probably pick up once Senou gets used to his alternative form, so I expect this show to only get better from here. |

| to those whos complaining about the "huge amount" of fan service in this show, Id like to point out that ep1 of Railgun has by far more (and more "direct") fan service than ep1 of kaempfer, and loli. So, gl with better animation there. and to those who believe they cant enjoy this stupid crap, Id like to say, drop it before you come back every week complaining about how bad it is. It is annoying for both you and others. and to those who thinks they can laugh at those stupid jokes in the show, Id say, good choice! :-) |

| This episode was surprisingly good compared to the initial reactions of many people here. Although I admit I'm an ecchi fan, as well as fighting (a la Tenjho Tenge), I find that I'll most likely follow this series unless it takes a horrible turn for the worst. P.S. Female Natsuru Senou is cute ^^ haha |

| For a genre that usually reeks in the gutter and doesn't ever try to do anything new, this show has an edge. It's has the potential to be a well above junk-food type of a show. It's the type of show that you indulge in even though it's devoid of any nutritious content. The parody bit and combing a few cliches in a unique way does pique my interest. Honestly, I was expecting much worse from looking at the cover art, but it looks like it will be an above average fluff show, which translates into an non-fluff average show. And is it just me or could have they gone a lot more overboard with the ecchi given the premise? May watch for another episode to see if it improves. |
| Somewhat different than what I've expected after reading the manga... But since the show is adapted from light novels, not the manga, I guess I shouldn't complain... Still, some stuff could have been better, for instance- for everyone who's reading the manga- remember how Hatsuru came to be ''the bait'' in the library? That scene was hilarious- at least for me- and they've changed it in the anime. I is dissapoint. Also, I totally agree that the male Natsuru sounds way too girly, although I know that manga states he's supposed to have the same voice all the time, I really imagined his voice as somewhat more manly, and cool, even if that would mean that his female version would have to sound like a complete tomboy. One more thing... There was loads of ecchi in the anime- more than in the manga, I think- and for the first time ever... I don't think I'm happy with it. Although it's pretty hot, I really don't want this show to end up being simply fan service. I mean, manga has some of these elements too, but not in a such shove-it-in-your-face way... I hope this won't ruin the show's potential in other areas, cause it's-at least what I know from the manga-got great humor, kickass action, and-I think-a somewhat deeper background story than it looks at the first sight... |
