Yes but there’s no point if a remake also decides to be unfaithful to the manga. I’d watch it if it was a 1:1 manga remake.

I would watch every minute of a faithful remake- but I don’t know if anyone would be able to do Ishida’s artwork justice. It would be difficult the same things that he does.

I think it would be good if it was a perfect adaptation of the manga with great pacing and production quality. But honestly the art and the whole aesthetic of the manga is so amazing that I don’t think any studio can fully do it justice. It just wouldn’t feel the same as when reading the manga. I still think it would be good but The manga is so amazing in my opinion I don’t think any studio could do it well enough, it’s kinda like berserk, vagabond, punpun and many more popular seinen titles where is just doesn’t really transfer well into the anime medium. It would be cool if it could. But it probably can’t due to the perfect degree people want the adaptations to be.

definitely, this manga deserves a faithful anime adaptation, really the only thing this one has going for it is the great music, other than that the manga is infinitely better

The Manga is incredible so if they just did a full manga adaptation I’d so watch it. I lost faith in the anime after season 2. It has been about 10 years now so a remake would be great, Re is gunna be hard to pull off though (I honestly didn’t like the Re manga as much).

well rn i’m rewatching s1 and i’m finally gunna sit through s3 as best i can so i can actually give my own view on the whole series. If they remake it as more faithful to the manga then it will be amazing but i doubt it

100% would rewatch the remake especially if it was being remade going by the manga and not skipping a bunch if stuff.

If it was more faithful to the manga yes. There wouldn’t be much I would change about season 1 though it’s a pretty decent retelling of the first few parts of the manga with minor changes being made to fit the manga counterpart. Route A would need to be scrapped entirely though if they are remaking it and just use the original manga storyline. Re needs to be majorly fixed in the remake by not only staying more faithful to the manga but avoiding many of the pacing issues the anime had. I think it could definitely work though especially with how remakes like FMA Brotherhood and Hellsing Ultimate have shown that if you stick more to the manga not only does it please the fans but makes a better overall story. But yeah anime Tokyo Ghoul deserves a remake if it’s going to stick close to the manga.

I don’t really see the point in a remake. I loved the anime and I don’t really think it’s been long enough for a remake to be justified. If it was from the 90s or something then it would be different

a remake would be appreciated considering it'd be faithful to the manga. i watched the anime till root A, then read the manga as people said that many things are skipped in the anime. currently im reading tg:re then i'll watch re's anime adaptation.

I don’t think there going to be a remake for a long time if ever the animation still good for today the anime is still loved and like by many even if it wasn’t faithful and has some plot holes it still a great show no need to remake it yet but some day I hope to see a remake

I would love to have a remake mainly because I would like to see some of my favourite manga scenes animated, but also because I would have loved better quality animation.
I found the adaption mostly adequate, and in some places enjoyable, but given the quality of the source material I would like an adaption which is equal to the manga.
