Do you guys find/found this anime cringe?

Hey everyone,

I just finished watching toradora this week after keeping it
On hold for half year. In the site which I've watched the anime
So many called the anime cringe. If you guys thinks so too, why.

In my high school day i like a girl(different school), another girl liked me
(Same school), other boy liked her. Since we're same school we were close(as friends) and there used to be fight between me and the other guy
And after all years we're still in pieces not close to anyone now anymore

Is this anime cringe? If so is it because of being realistic( I think)

It got a bit melodramatic at times but never reached cringe tier for me. I think it's pretty good actually.

Some slapstick humor is definitely cringe and a little out of beat with the rest of the show, but overall, especially in the second half, the show is pretty amazing at what is it.

The scenes with the parrot were pretty cringe, but I thought it was a pretty good show overall. The ending was weird for me, but nothing that sticks out too much.

Yeah I think calling it "cringe" is a misuse of the term. Nothing about Toradora gave me second hand embarrassment and that's what cringe means, right?

A few moments were a bit far fetched, but what do you expect from anime? I didn't find it cringe, I found it more adorable when they finally realised how much they cared for one another.

absolutely not. toradora is the best anime I've ever seen, there's not even a cringe scene and it's written very well. I always accept all criticisms, but absolutely no cringe.

It's been a while since I've watched this but, I remember loving the comedy of it. So much so that it might be holding the record of my most rewatched series.
But I also do remember cringing by the end (Won't specify to avoid spoilers). I was a teenager and, to be honest, when things started getting too dramatic, it started getting weird for me (I get it now of course). But the "sweet lovey-dovey finale scene" was what I remember making me cringe so much (I'm trying my best to not spoil it :P).
Not sure if I'm gonna feel the same if I rewatch it now, a decade later, but I've been planning on doing so since being reminded of it by Netflix.
