It's even delivering above the hype so far.. Mm, I am of this opinion as well. We just don't know yet for sure if they truly will get the whole series right. Though there's not exactly much pointing towards them failing with it based on the prologue. But that's coming from someone who read the VN. People who have are most likely going to be perfectly happy with this adaptation (well I'm more or less perfectly happy with the prologue at least). They know what to expect story-wise. They already know whether they're going to like certain characters, events, battles, etc, assuming the adaptation stays strong and faithful of course. I already know I'm going to like this anime more than a bunch of other things, because I already know I like the Fate/stay night VN series a whole lot (gave it a 9.5 rating, which means it's competing with stuff like Umineko, Muv-Luv Alternative and Ever17... that's not easy competition at all) But for people who haven't read the VN, yet are still somewhat familiar with the Fate series? Well I personally have no idea what DEEN's anime and movie covers of the routes, so I have no idea how much those people know of the stories already. Hence I have no idea if they're going to like the result of these new adaptations, story-wise. They may or may not. |

| Agreed, his attitude is ridiculous. It was a big mistake to consider the prologue an ova imo, but you really have to be scum to rate a show poorly just so that your favorite anime remain highly ranked. |
| There are people even rating it as a standalone when it's clearly not.. It's all because MAL separated the first episode from the entry of the show it's part of. Consistency stuff, this is what it results in. So yeah unless it becomes part of the show again expect more comments like that. I say just ignore it. |

The only reason people dont want this separate is because it will be in the top 20, which personally I think it should be. |

But the episode was announced as part of the main series by the producers, not an OVA or special or whatever else; it's a TV anime episode part of Ufoworks. Well whatever, it doesn't matter anymore now. like I said just ignore whatever comments that come up because of the split.. |

| I have the prologue as an 8 right now, depending on how the rest of the adaptation goes I'll rate it that. The same for the second cour of it. | Fair enough. I don't go around rating shows 1/10 for a silly reason like that though. It'd be one thing if i genuinely hated it that much, but in your case, it's pretty funny. "Gives it a rating that contradicts my honest opinion because justice!" Tell me, if we assume you had absolute power over the ratings of MAL entries, would you lower the scores of shows you actually liked in the name of "justice"? Sorry, but there's no objectivity in entertainment. If the ranking troubles you so much then blame MAL for making it a separate entry. |
