| LOL AWESOME What happened with the animation, they finnaly learned how to do it? I don't get tired of Koko's OST no matter how many times I hear it, and his sword too. Did they add some scenes? I don't remember that sword vs staff in the manga. Did I miss something? Can Gurinpaachi get even creepier? He makes Titans look like good guys... Next episode Sanii vs Tomiiroddo, be prepared, the best fight of the series is coming. |

I have to disagree there, there wasn't much fight coco vs grin in the manga, the adaptation was awesome. And I don't know why people complain about the blood. There's no blood, so what? You're free to watch any terror movie with people screaming and bleeding, I don't see the point there, but if you do... Anyways, I don't mind the blood, in the manga it's all black/white, but that's not what I expect from an anime, blood would make it ugly. Not everyone is cold enough to like those things. It's great the way it is. @aboe I highly recommend you don't watch subbed anime. |

Excuse me if I say this, but that's a dumb superficial excuse to hate on the anime. no thats not it,. blood and gore is just playes a big role in the toriko manga, some characters loose arms and legs and have huge holes in their stomachs, or get some chunks of their faces clawed off. its hard to understand if you dont read the manga. so i expected such a response. the four beast arc had blood but that looked like1 stripe of red paint on their bodies. but in the manga they were bleeding like pigs. the art style in the manga is sooo damn goood and the art style and animation quality in the anime are sooo damn terrible most of the time. in the end its a BAD adaptation but not a BAD anime by itself. it just fails to represent the toriko manga . |

Oh well... everyone is saying that, so I can't just deny, ok. But usually the characters move slowly, while in this episode they were faster. The way how Toriko and Starjun contorted themselves to exchange blows. And Gurinpaachi was even using feints with his staff, that's rare in Toriko. I don't think it's fun to watch Livebearer using his knifes randomly without any skill, Zebura roaring or Buranchi just stretching his arm to throw electricity. I don't know if you get my point, but just explaining why I liked the animation. |

| When false Coco got sucked up, I was thinking again about how I feel like all these people might just be really delicious. After all they ate such amazing things given this world's logic. xD; It was really nice seeing Coco say exactly what Komatsu needed to hear. I love that so far Sunny's greatest battle is against being grossed out. Not that I would do much better, yikes. |

So when you said Coco's fight was stupid I thought, then what kind of fight isn't? So I went to your profile, hoping to see something like "Kenichi" or "HunterxHunter" that the fights make more sense, and to see that blood wasn't all what you liked, so your post would make some sense. But all I found was that most of your favorites are Horror/Mecha animes. So I used Evangelion as an example, and that's just ridiculous, humans using machines to fight(?) instead of training their own bodies and fighting seriously. The whole series is a crap, and people who like it are just hypnotized by the opening song. |

| This thread = a bunch of people comparing the manga and the anime, and complaining.... maybe try that on a separate thread so people who havent read the manga or people who are here to actually just discuss the anime can actually discuss the ANIME.
