Its pretty much the same content but I could be mistaken, I think certains scenes are just done differently compared to the anime. Would recommend watching the anime and then proceeding with the movie at a later date.

By my count, there are exactly three sequences in the movie that weren’t in the TV adaptation, in addition to some pacing tweaks and updated animation. The movie is in 16:9, and the anime is in 4:3 - that’s more than enough reason for many to watch the movie.

You’re definitely not missing anything watching the arc in the anime, but I think the movie comes across as a more polished experience. You can absolutely watch the movie first, or in place of the anime arc.

I guess the anime first...

I read the manga and watched the anime movie without having seen the anime series. I do not recommend watching an anime movie without any prior knowledge of the series.
