Not nearly as impactful as Gugus heart wrenching death, this was still pretty sad. RIP Bon, probably my second favorite character in the story so far

First solid episode in a long while. Bon's character ended up being more relevant than expected and it seems Fushi has molten iron powers now.

The Nokkers not attacking Fushi in the weeks that he was imprisoned is questionable tho.

I didn't watch the preview this time. Bonchien will die at some point, whether it is in the next episode or not doesn't really matter in the grand scheme of things, but it makes me wonder if his death would allow Fushi to see ghosts as well, and eventually resurrect them since he would see them as persons and know what they body was like when they died.
Fushi acquiring the power to produce molten iron is kind of scary. I kind of expected him to use it on those crocodiles but his plan was far better.

Fushi constantly gains consciousness and escapes from the Church. I thought the Church was just skeptical but Bon proved me wrong. They just don’t want another god to be revered. Hate Cylira!

Bon finally gets wise. But sad, he probably doesn’t know that Fushi is watching.

This might trigger something in Fushi. I’m waiting for the moment when he’ll discover his ability to give life to his dead friends.

With Bon (maybe) dead I have to wonder, if Fushi transforms in to him would he also be able to see dead people? Or is the ability to see dead people found with Bons spirit and not body

I did not understand Bon's goal with his march to death. The Church is now vindicated so they'll prosecute and kill everyone who doesn't repent. I guess he wanted the cult of Fushi to end since Fushi didn't care about it to begin with.

Thats it for Bon? Super lame. I thought he would atleast be important if he is already annoying but if this is it we could have just skipped the entire thing.

Also the PV.. guardians disbanding because Fushi is a heretic? Lol, as if anything has changed. The church was their enemy the entire time, why disband now after generations of growing in numbers?

Where are the guardians anyway, why havent the nokkers attacked if Fushi was in the same spot for weeks? Did they just conveniently forgot about it? What happened to Bons army? Really what even is this story at the moment..

People believing in fushi and those opposing him in the same spot but it doesnt get violent? Sure..

Damn. Not sure if he's really dead or not—probably, knowing this show—but what a fucking character. W development.

We don't know what kind of people we truly are until the moment before our deaths.
As death comes to embrace you, you will realise what you are.
That's what death is, don't you think?

I'm really not happy with how this went. Fushi has enough power to brute force it, he could probably destroy whole kingdoms on his own, and considering what they put him through he had all the reasons to get angry and actually murder people. Isn't he supposed to become more human-like?

That isn't the point. Fushi's entire being tells him that murder and destruction are wrong. Brute forcing it is what he struggles not to do, especially because it would go against the natures of his friends that form his own. True, he's becoming more human, but he isn't. Just like he isn't a man or a woman, Fushi is a completely different existence, and his assimilation into human behaviour would be pointless and deny his struggles thus far.

We don't know what kind of people we truly are until the moment before our deaths.

Now who'll tell those goons from church that Fushi's not dead. Though can't blame them thinking they succeeded given the form of torture they had Fushi through for several weeks.

Bon wasn't to my liking since the first episode he was introduced, but they managed to give him a decent closure this time around. I know it's still something along the lines of cliffhanger but knowing the nature of this series and that spoiler heavy OP, I'd assume he's dead.

Was Todo's cage moving up because she was intentionally starving herself by giving Bon and the boy food?
Did the torture mean Fushi has learnt how to make molten iron having come into contact with it?
The evil church is pushing the eccentric jovial prince Bon to his breaking point. So he goes along with their theology, playing the villain so Fushi and Todo can escape. With his facial hair grown far beyond his moustache, he almost looks messianic (which is what many perceive Fushi to be).
And so, Bon went the way of royals who picked the wrong religion during the Reformation in real life... will loyal followers of Peach here touch the martyred blood from his decapitated head?

Didn't the series mess up here? Fushi should only be able to produce things that have harmed him or the dead he has made a bond with prior. What did I miss that allows him to produce a husk of someone who is only unconscious? This implies that he can transform into someone living without them having to die.

RIP Bonchien Nicoli La Tasty Peach Uralis." It's pretty sad he never got to know that Todo is a woman, and likely the ghost girl he once saw.
Graduated High School in May of 2022. Summer vacation has finally arrived. I have once again regained the power of a new anime fan, being able to watch multiple anime episodes in a day. Time to binge-watch every single anime I can into the night until college arrives. SADGE. SUPER SADGE... College has begun as of Monday, August 30, 2022, so you won't be seeing me much around these parks. See you on weekends, I guess... School me is back. Sigh! I'll at least try for one anime a day with all this course load.

I'll forever call this episode Fushi Deus ex Machina.

This episode is the one that "killed off" the series, the writer cornered him/herself into a corner and had to pull the good ol' Deus ex Machina card. Fushi is turning more and more into a bland run of the mill demi-god shounen protagonist.

I didn't tune in/loved S1 because The nameless boy was an Avenger in practice! I did because he struggled around like all of us trying to find a meaning for it all, now with god like super powers what is it to enjoy? Not much.

Bye, bye Fushi, you had a somewhat bumpy road, with sprinkles of greatness doted here and there.
Me every time I hear the word "reparations": 🤣🤣🤣

The gay sassy prince is an interesting character and all but his death didn't leave a strong impact on me, the only deaths on this show that left me an impact are March, Gugu and the old woman's death in the last episode of S1, those deaths gave me teary eyes and I even shed a couple of tears for them, they were pretty damn sad, all the other deaths in this show aren't that good sadly. So Fushi has a new powerup now, he sure needed it and I'm glad this arc is over because I was getting tired of it.

And Fushi has a lot of self-control because I would have gone ape shit and burned the whole church down and killed those brainwashed mother fuckers too.
