| Kotaro takes extra balloons, seems like its in one part for himself and he's trying to help the guy out. Pretty sure he was trying to impersonate Yakuza and Manga-ka with the last two disguises too. He helps Manga-ka out with his editor, who actually does believe in him, also what's with that guy's laughing lmfao. Yakuza is asked for help when it comes to clothes, Manga-ka is such a slob the kid has to go to the guy who's wearing a leopard print suit....... poor kid. Kotaro heads to the hostess club as he's worried about losing Hostess as a neighbour, that end bit where he and Manga-ka are comparing hostesses, lmfao. So it looks like his mum is dead and if I had to guess from the whole photo situation his father was probably psychically abusive and they had run from him. The mix of humour and darkness in this show is perfect, also I wonder when we will meet the other two neighbours. |

| I found myself close to tears so many times during this episode, first when Kotaro was playing with the balloons alone and then obviously near the end of the episode when it's confirmed that his mother has passed away. Kotaro remains the most adorable kid, this was so cute, but emotional too. |

| The way I had to fight those tears this ep… when he made a balloon family it almost broke me. So it’s now obvious that he had an abusive father which broke my heart and then finding out his mum is dead was like a punch in the gut Can I please adopt this wonderfully odd little boy?! |

| I watched the first 2 episodes and though "meh". It seemed interesting enough that I came back to binge it. So glad I did! Episode 3 was an absolute bombshell. As was every one after it, here's hoping for season 2+ |
