| they really are the best friends anyone can ever ask for i wouldn't mind an entire season dedicated to tooru and her friends' history and relationship, or even her mother's story when she's young. i wonder what tooru's swim suit looks like RobertBobert said: Speaking about Uochan, I heard that later in the manga she will have her own love interest. | I love delinquents and those three were especially hilarious, lol. And I really appreciate some focus on Uotani, really interesting for me, but I'm also kinda biased tehe. |

| What a good ep as well. More back story between Uotani, Tohru and her mom. With no mom and a drunk dad, you can tell why Uotani had that life. |

| Remembering how Kyouko used to be such a loving parent with Tooru always melts my heart. Nice episode overall. This time the focus was on Uo-chan's character and her past as part of an all-girls gang. Pretty interesting backstory and relatable to some extent. It did a perfect job at making me empathize with her so I can't wait to see how it all will conclude in the next episode. By the way, that post-credits scene was soo good xD P.S.: I was too focused on Uo-chan to notice it but good lord, those Hana-chan's genetics... damn. |
| I expected a boring episode when they decided to buy a swimsuit for Tohru. Arisa is really interesting. Finally, we know more about her past. No mom and a drunk dad. That post credit scene was hilarious lol. |

| I appreciate that we got Uotani's backstory but to be honest I find it a bit tiring how everybody seems to have some sad backstory so far. Also, Hanajima in swimsuit is good civilization. |

| Nice to see some focus on one of Tohru's guardian angels: Uotani. Also nice aftercredits segment with the delinquent girls trying to intimidate Momiji of all people. |

| feeling like this season is more about character introduction, what i like about that, is that my expectations for s2 are high. the ending of this episode made me feel as there's more to uo than meets the eye. really love the comedy of this anime, unlike some people here lol. |
| Yet another chill episode to begin with, just Tohru, Arisa and Saki at the school pool having a swim and the latter two as well as Yuki and Kyo all decide to pitch and get Tohru a gift in the form of a swimsuit and then we get to learn more about Arisa’s past concerning Tohru. So apparently she used to idolise Tohru’s mum because she was the leader of a gang and always went by the title of the Crimson Butterfly and was essentially a delinquent before she met Tohru so it’s interesting to see her perspective as a whole. Man she had all those expectations about Tohru’s mum being a tough woman and found out she’s nothing but a doting mother when in reality I would only summarise that Kyoko naturally was a tough gal but eventually changed with time because of Tohru. That’s what I believe at the moment anyway. Arisa definitely had it rough though, her mother leaving her with just her dad and the dad himself just being a neglectful alcoholic of a parent. It’s very showing that Kyoko herself is a better parent to Arisa than her actual parents ever were. And a feeling that we are gonna see more of how Arisa became the person she is now. Overall a very interesting episode I’d say. |

| I expected Arisa's past to be something like that, but nonetheless, her rage resonated with me deeply as I share some similarities with her. I'm even more curious to learn about Hanajima's story; she's such a peculiar character. But most of all, I'm eagerly waiting for some romance to develop between Tohru and Yuki already!! >.< Please don't tell me I have to wait until the end of the series to see it happen 😭😭😭 |

| Honestly... Kyoko or Uo would've been way more interesting main characters than Tohru. And I'm aware of the usual protagonist, but Tohru is just very boring. I don't know... Then again, I can see why Kyoko wasn't the main character. Going from a badass gang leader to a domestic housewife is a bit... I don't know... It smells slightly of sexism... |
