Probably is but this A1 they most likely find a way to shorten it Nope it will last at least 3 episodes (3 and a half in my opinion with the current pacing) seeing that 2nd cour will end at episode 24. If they shorten the fight it will be impossible to finish at 24 which they already announced. |

| Could really do without Chudelkin comic-relief character, he's such an annoyance and breaks the atmosphere. Kinda build-up episode though. Was interesting to see the senate and Alice with the right determination finally. Also, how long had he lived without Asuna by now? 8 years or so? He's living in this world longer than he's with her IRL, would be solid shock for him if he ever wakes up (or it should have been, but yeah, he's Kirito, I know...) |

| Alice and Kirito ascend past the 95th floor and run into the creepy clown dude. He's annoying, obnoxious, and deserves to get freaking killed. Was cheering when Alice stabbed him, but disapointed when he escaped. Eugeo getting turned into a synthesis knight was surprising even though it was probably predictable given the ending of last episode. Kirito vs Eugeo now. This is really freaking cool, but I'm praying Eugeo does not die. SAO has a tendancy of killing off all of their good characters and leaving the ones I couldn't give a shit about to live. |
| Usually brainswashing is a really boring plot point in a story, but since the story basically revolves around brainwashing I think it just makes sense here. Though Eugeo will now probably an ultra-strong enemy, which makes no sense because both Alice and Kirito should be easily be able to beat him in a 1v1. |
