| Very strong start. I was expecting Madao at the end but the shogun came out. I still don't like him at all but hopefully he can do something! |
| Very nice ED. It's fits the theme of this arc. It also reminds me that I'm nearing the end of this series. It kinda makes me sad when I think about it. |

| Madao was epic with that outfit I thought it would be his redemption time and that he would actually be great but nah he got ridiculized as always ahahah also prince Hata appeared for one scene it's been so long I wanted to see his face and hear his theme again xD well anyway now that the amanto are invading the earth we have the yorozuya trio back to kick some amanto ass with the other characters, while Sakamoto and Katsura are with the Nobunobu shogun hmm, great start! |

| ahh it lowkey pains me to finally start the last arc of gintama but it must be done. madao's a real one. love how everyone puts their faith in yorozuya. also glad to see baka oji again lmao. the yorozuya gang's return did not disappoint. |

| A bit wack that nobody fought back until Gintoki, Kagura, and Shinpachi came back, but otherwise, good episode. Also, the narrative will never take Madao seriously, like ever. |

| This felt very refreshing and amazing. It's been so long since I saw Madao. Sadly he's still Madao so the scene can't be 100% serious. Him telling that kid to close his eyes forever was hilarious. They are back! Odd Jobs's entrance was great, although I was expecting a full-blown war to begin when they arrive. I never thought I'd see Hata again but I guess it happened, lol. The opening is nice but the ending song is just amazing. I didn't expect Burnout Syndromes, but I love it, both the visuals and the song. The part where it shows all the characters who died was sad, especially seeing Isaburo. |

| I'd still prefer it if this show didn't have a grand plot and they just stuck with their usual gags and puns but well. |
