| the end of season 1 was karasuno's defeat in a tournament-- you can't expect them to start season 2 off with the team suddenly winning a bunch of games with no development! this is the growing period for the characters-- honestly this is the most interesting part because you get to see each character learn new things and the characters' personalities are fleshed out more! i mean, this backstory episode with tsukishima was fantastic, and now he's improved his blocking skills which will be awesome to see in tougher matches! seriously keep watching, cause the matches that happen later will be worth it. |

| This season isn't as bad as people are making it out to be. The training camp arc is one my favorite arcs in this series. Not only do you get to learn more about the other teams, but we are also seeing every member on Karasuno grow as characters & players. Today's episode proved that everyone's hard work is paying off. And don't forget about the tournament coming up. These upcoming matches are going to be pretty intense.. |

| I'm really liking the second season so IDK what you're talking about by saying that it sucks so far just because they're showing things other than volleyball. :P Things like tests and homework... isn't that normal and to be expected in any anime with students in them? The characters besides participating in a sport, they are in school so it should be obvious to expect some school related things. Even other sports animes like Slam Dunk or Kuroko no Basuke, it's not all basketball all the time. If it was, it would have ended up stupid and senseless. |

| So far I liked the first season better, but it might be because I marathoned it while I'm watching S2 weekly (which I hate doing...not even sure why I'm doing it). Although the most recent ep was pretty good. |

| I loved the 2nd season because they focused on character development and rival team characters more. Comedy is good, animation is good. I have no complaints. Just because you like mindless action without character development doesn't mean everybody should dislike it. |

| Season 2 has been great so far. I'm hoping they will animate all the matches, which can be done if they only focus on Karasuno and maybe a few of the other match-ups with 9 more episodes left. |

| I'm not sure there are more high school stuff this season than in the previous one. But I preferred the match in the first season though.Their opponents are pretty dull for the moment. |
| Imo it's slightly better than the first one, but it's definitely not a masterpiece. Its place in MAL ranking is kinda ridiculous :D But I know it's because this kind of series are watched mostly by fangirls who loved the previous season. It's similar to Kuroko's treatment in that regard. For me it's a bit worse than Kuroko. It was getting funnier and funnier in latter seasons :D But I know plenty of people prefer Haikyuu! because it's more realistic, and I completely get it. |

| I also can't enjoy that season so much, Haikyuu to me is again an anime which is hard to watch weekly, I marathoned season 1 and the manga so I could easily pay less attention to the boring moments but now watching it weekly I really have a hard time to enjoy it. It is maybe just not my taste. But the reason I still follow it is due to the matches. The games are always great but the sol in-between and the comedy is not my cup of tea. |
| I think I'm actually enjoying this season more than the previous season, aside from the Yachi recruiting episode/s. I feel like the training arc was necessary to shore up the team's weaknesses, while showing a lot of individual growths. In particular, I loveeed the full circle scene with Hinata seeing his own poster where he first saw the Little Giant. Brilliant. |

| After the last 2-3 episodes. I definitely think the second season is better. All the build up from the training was well worth it. glad that Haikyuu didn't start to suck like KnB in it's second season |

Besides, his statement seems vague to me, he mentioned "each and every new anime," which hints that he might have meant other airing anime as well-- at least that's how I interpreted it.
