Fantastic, it was actually meant to be at the start of this season, he goes to visit Neko's place where they have a shrine for a girl they both loved to tell her he finally won the world title, so obviously he's going to do it after this title fight. I'm glad they are doing it! |
| Nice, I'm glad they are animating it, I still remember it vaguely from when I read part of the manga years ago when I thought we'd never get a sequel to the first series. Kinda sad though that both of their VAs died already. |

| "Spin-off" isn't really the right word to use since this is important backstory for both Kamogawa and Nekota. It'll be a shame if people decide to skip this. In the manga the story was told after Takamura's fight against Hawk, but there wasn't enough time in the NC anime. And with how much the music and all improved in Rising I'm kinda glad about that. | Yeah, i hope people won't skip this. Kamogawa and Nekota's past is pretty damn tear jerking imo But wow, Mamoru Miyano as young kamogawa.. |
