Sadly I haven`t read the Sora no Otoshimono manga, but judging from the description of it DearS seams very similar to it: A male protagonist encounters an "angel", later meets a second tsundere-like angel and has an female childhood friend. Though Mitsuki seems to differ from Neneko. Both are ecchi series.
report Recommended by Shelling
Main character lives with a none-human female. The setting and such are quite different, though the enjoyment factor is about the same. Plus there's the ecchi moments you'd expect from such shows, because of the circumstances that are brought up.
report Recommended by Shiroth
Both animes have a female alien coming from out of outer space witch stays with the main protagonist. They also both have amazing technology.
report Recommended by Aurao
Both similar school setting, both have perverted main characters (though Tomoki just seems to have that extra edge of coolness even though he can't fight), both ultra sexy girls, good fights (with DxD focusing more on the fights) and both great fun to watch, They're also like reverses of each with Otoshimono focusing on angels (or what ever they are) and Dxd focusing on devils.

A guy's peaceful life being turned upside down when girls from a different world come to him. Seems to be only ecchi/comedy, but actually have a deeper meaning about friendship. Some action here and there. Neat animation. Personally liked Sora no Otoshimono more, though.

Same thing different approach... Girls from the skies, however our heroe is more silly.
report Recommended by RomelSan
Very similar characters with them both having a mysterious past yet their put into a state of uncontiousness where they have been forced to live as if nothing has happened.
report Recommended by Lithobilic
Has elements of harem and a male protagonist meeting a girl that is not human with powers. Has comedy scenes as well as action/fighting scenes.
report Recommended by kuuderehime
There both tremendously funny. Both have similar characteristics, such as: the protagonist is an idiot, girls tend to fall in love with these idiots, both have crude humor.
report Recommended by mytimewasted
A perverted male protagonist with a female protagonist with supernatural abilities, also surrounded by female characters with abilities as well. Fight scenes. Fanservice... rest is history :)

Both about how a young guys life changes as an unexpected angel comes into his life
report Recommended by xKaorux
Chaotic, funny and silly shows where weird things happen. The boy has to deals with angel-like girls. These girls cohabit with him, and strange things happen all the day.

both males have a new type of species introduced to them both are harems with plenty of girls at first both of them wish all that happened didnt happen, but they start to enjoy it and like their new lifestyle
report Recommended by supermegasonic
Both anime contains ecchi content and the male lead ends up with several girls interested in him; can call that a harem. The male lead is also a pervert who gets involved with supernatural things.

Others have recommended animes like Chobits or DearS. While these animes are similar in story, they don't have the same feel as Sora no Otoshimono. The humor of Sora no Otoshimono has the exact same tone as Inukami. Extremely ridiculous, over the top, ecchi humor that is presented in a unique way. This is interspersed within more serious arcs that provide the occasional relief from the outrageous comedy. Basically, if you laughed your ass off watching Inukami, you will find yourself doing the same for Sora no Otoshimono.

Both have a unexpected Plot Twist A great Mix of Ecchi, Drama, Romance and Action
report Recommended by -_Removed_-
The concept is very similar to that of this show and the animation is really similar too. In Sora there are two angels and thats about it but in shuffle there are bunches of demons and gods. Shuffle is a little more going for the romantic drama type anime while Sora no O. is going for the comedy anime.

I started watching Sora no Otoshimono the other day and couldn't understand why I felt like I had already seen it until realizing that it had almost the exact same premise as This Ugly Yet Beautiful World. Girl with big boobs/naked and/or super powers falls from the sky and is under the guidance of a guy. The difference is that This Ugly Yet Beautiful World is more serious and shows naked normal sized breasts, while Sora no Otoshimono is an ecchi comedy with clothed huge breasts. In This Ugly Yet Beautiful World more people have super powers; in Sora no Otoshimono "pantsu" is said at  read more

Both have female "aliens" with incredibly advanced technology, abilities and weapons, who meet a guy in Earth. Also, the guy (and his friends) get involucrated with a dangerous organization (like Synapse in Sora no Otoshimono).
report Recommended by kaiteshin-daichi
A brainless and perverted main male character, who is often beatin up by a beautiful violent girl, but he still happy after the beatings received. School comedy with weird characters, supernatural stuff and funny parodies. A lot of ecchi and gorgeous girls. There is a supporting male classmate for the male protagonist.
report Recommended by Disillusion
Beings from earth enter main characters life. Cute girls end up living with protagonist. Protagonist hits the girls when they say something they deem inappropriate (at least I think Ikaros gets hit on the head a few times early. Tomoki doesn't abuse the angeloids much at all.) Same art style. Both very funny.
report Recommended by SevenKnights
The female main heroine of the series are both quiet, innocent, and their presence gives a somewhat similar atmosphere. Ecchi element is also can be taken as consideration, but sora no otoshimono is more direct than sakurasou. Viewers can also experience a touching moment in both series.
report Recommended by sylphet
they both have the same comedy and they are both harem. very funny and really. both main characters are both perverts in a way. but it's really funny.!
report Recommended by shana_luvs_yu
Both male leads are perverts. Harem Both male leads usually get smacked around or beaten up by one of the females for acting perverted. Both male leads have super powered female living with them. Both of the male leads have a female friend since childhood and who for some reason is attracted to the male lead.

Majimoji Rurumo and Sora no Otoshimomo share a very similar male and female protagonist. Our male is an extreme pervert who attends high school and is suddenly paired with a angel/witch. Our female lead is very kuudere and ignorant to human culture on earth. These shows are both ecchi/comedies with a supernatural twist, they also showcase excellent character development. If you enjoyed the setting or atmosphere of either show I would recommend trying the other for a similar scenario to carry out.
report Recommended by Nikoru-san
If you like ecchi-based comedy, then you would definitely like the other one. They both contain lots of ecchi stuff and a bit of harem.
report Recommended by Jstyle
Both have dirty jokes, both have that fantasy feel, both have a somewhat slow plot. I'd highly recommend both.
report Recommended by VoidMaw
Both have a main character boy, surrounded by girls/angels with biiiiig breasts. Both are very funny. Both have superpowers. One day, o boy discover that he is a very beautiful girl with big breast, then hey bear toy explain that he must fight as a kampfer, and kamperfs are girls so he became a girl. The other story is about a very preverted boy who love his peacefull life and a small city, but one day he find an angel, and she became his slaves. These 2 animes are the funnyest anime ever. You will laught untill death, so you can't miss them.

- Angels - Random Humor - Ecchi Humor Both have angels in them that have a person they should watch over although where Sora no Otoshimono has a better story development in general, Bokusatsu Tenshi Dokuro-chan tops that with the random slaughter and great ecchi humor! But either of both are great!
report Recommended by RafaelDeJongh
different plot, but both are hilarious and the protoganists are perverts. you get the same feeling watching them

When everything seems to be funny and goofy, suddenly everything turns dark and painful. That's the similarity between two of my favorites animes.
report Recommended by krsp
Both have Sci-Fi girl who appears in boys live. Both have childhood friend involved. Both really funny. If u liked Kemeko DX u should definitely watch Sora No Otoshimono.

Both seem to have the same mood of happiness while having some sort of hidden action Both are also harem and funny

Servant = angeloid the main character is boy that very pervert but kind and not like fighting and there is one more thing the angeloid is love with her master so there is a love between servant and master

Both share: perverted main male character, main male character helping those around him, attractive female characters, an abundance of ecchi comedy, and plenty of fan-service. In short, Golden Boy (1995) is an ecchi anime classic that solidified some of the tropes known to the genre, and both are very humorous.

Angels that fell from the sky and start to live with the MC. They show their way to each other and get to know each other... they bond together and learn about each other. Sora no Otoshimono is more cheeky than One Room but an absolute gem as well (the protag is a hell of a perv but has a good heart). One room have a cinnamon roll of a protag. I just love the angelical vibe of each anime (btw Sora no Otoshimono have a good and interesting lore).
report Recommended by AlCreed
The main characters are lazy and crazy when they're chibi, but nice when they're normal. While it's only used as a style in Sora no Otoshimono, in Himouto Umaru-chan the MC really turns into a chibi.
report Recommended by Rad_Scientist
In both series, an alien girl accidentally came across the MC. Like SnO, in Girls Bravo you'll find lots of sexual comedy, and nonsensical situations that will make you laugh a lot. If you like that formula, you'll have a lot of fun watching Girls Bravo.
report Recommended by desgostoamargo
Both shows feature the male MC living with a female MC who was essentially originally created to be a living weapon. Both are ecchi comedies that also have dramatic and serious parts and an occasional fight.
report Recommended by MorningStorm64
For those who prefer a Harem but simple and ther wasn't so much conflit ,this is what you want to watch, if you search for a slice of life this also a nice anime and it's was very fun to watch, but there is the big different , it's art of anime is good but Sora No Otoshimono was not very nice.
report Recommended by Fosuy-kun
Both shows have great perverted characters. While Sora no Otoshimono has an overarching plot, the jokes used are quite similar and uses the same way to convey it; putting humorous characters next to the 'straight' one(s).
report Recommended by rockon1999
They're both funny and the dubs won't give you cancer. Main difference is Sora no Otoshimono will leave you with a semi.

I find these two very similar because they are both about cute girls from superior races who fall in love with earthlings and get through a lot of difficulties to be with them
report Recommended by mijumyandrei
Both about a guy's live, and there is a lot of pretty girls along the way + its also about machines + his childhood friend hits him + The only other guy I only supporting him
report Recommended by tobi5797
Sora no Otoshimono is about an angel named Ikaros who comes down from the sky and changes a teenage boy's life forever. B Gata H Kei is about a girl named Yamada who's goal is to have sex with one hundred boys- but the problem is she hasn't kissed even kissed one boy. Both stories are ecchi, comedy, and romance.
report Recommended by Ocean_Tide
Both MCs are perverted guys and when they get too lecherous they get punished by their love interests.
report Recommended by WorkTimeFun
Although Sora has a lot more ecchi, both anime take place in a normal world which is visited by something from another. Characters are misunderstood as evil, enemies become allies, and they both are just funny as hell.
report Recommended by Mar-Sn
Both of these series are just some of the funniest things I have ever seen. Arakawa isn't quite as ecchi but it is just as funny. Arakawa doesn't have quite as many girls and isn't a harem type but all the characters have eccentric personalities which will end up making you laugh and love.
report Recommended by giby1
Well, they both have a male who lives with "supernatrual" girls, haremish. I just think they are both rly good animes so if you have seen one of them i think you will enjoy the other one. The difference between them is that in Sora no Otishimono the male is a bit more perverted ^^, He gets beat up for being so though.
report Recommended by scrispys
Both main girl is serving the main guy cause the main guy is the one that find her and let her stay at his house. Both of this anime is that the main girl will do anything for his master. one of them want to be a part of his family like brother/sister while the other one is that the girl want to marry his master. The difference between these two. One is a serious sci fi drama that make you cry in the end while the other one is a supernatural, comedy, harem, drama with action.

One Average Guy that through Great Fortune (or Misfortune) has Several Attractive Girls thrown into his Life.
report Recommended by japzone
Both shows feature a protagonist who ends up caring for multiple girls with special powers at his home. Epic action scenes and comedic shenanigans ensue, but enough room is left for a reasonable plot and character development. If you appreciate good creative humor, and heartwarming romantic development, you will find it in both of these shows.

lots of Ecchi and Panty shot moments. Not to mention the hilarious comedy scenes where the main character gets beaten half to death.

A girl who was sent to a main male lead, then falls in love with him, but carries a dark past. Also, another girl who suddenly enters a group of friends and some similar events occur cos of the new member. Both feature much slice-of-life and school life.

angeloid ( ikaros ) and military ( sagara souske ) have similarities (tomoki and chidori) - they having hard time to live on normal place - they dont know how to live on a normal life - they have the same taste of comedy that you cant find on other anime - both are enjoyable

While Needless is a battle series, unlike Sora no Otoshimono, they do share some similarities; They both have a huge amount of audacity, they're both full of pretty girls, the mains are complete perverts and the atmosphere of those series is constantly shifting from serious to funny, even at inappropriate times.

although in Sora no otoshinimono the one who needs help is the angel and in happy world the helped is the main guy both animes are comedy/echii with angels

Same perverted, tenacious protagonists surrounded by a group of gorgeous girls
report Recommended by mishlax
Not-so-ordinary-harem with pretty girls who are not exactly humans. "Pretty girl is supposed to kill the group but eventually she will join to them" concept. Sora no Otoshimono is more comedy and Gokukoku is more gore but I like both of them and story is really quite similiar, I'm quite surprised that I'm the first one making this suggestion :)
report Recommended by Nagami
In a way, these two shows are very similar in what they achieved. First of all, both shows are harem in nature, and contains ecchi and action (in different ways) elements. However, hidden in the latter episodes of both series are dramatic plotlines that heavily emphasizes the main characters of the shows, which are usually not related to the genre these two shows are in.

Both about a typical life of teenage boys expect danshi only focuses on how teenage boys live during their school years, where as Sora looks at a guy living in unusual setting trying to be a normal perverted guy
report Recommended by xKaorux
Though Sora no Otoshimono hasn't been aired yet, its preview reminded me greatly of Asura Cryin'. In both animes there is a schoolboy protagonist surrounded by female characters posessing some special abilities. The male protagonist becomes involved in some adventures with unnatural flavour. In the end, everything depends on him, I guess.

A girl enters a clique, and later some similar events happen in both anime. Both feature much school life and slice-of-life.

Colorful characters and fanservice that manages to be hilarious instead of distracting, no matter how over the top it goes.

Both have a same style. Both have a main charachter with blue hair. Both are with "non-human" girls who learn to behave like a human. Both are action , comedy , ecchi.

Both series have a the main character that enjoy a particular life style, Keima is playing his dating sims and Tomoki is living in peace, and a girl that pops out of nowhere that turns their world upside down, for Keima it is the demon Elsie, and for Tomoki it is Ikaros. Both of them have to find a way to deal with this new complex life, Keima it is to conquer girls, while Tomoki is to prevent chaos from occuring. Both of these animes involves a guy coming across a super-powered female lead, from an entirely different level than him. The female lead possesses a strange power or ability, which in turn explains that the world is NOT as it seems, and strange things are happening.

-Both main characters are quite weak -Both leads have childhood's friends who like them -Both characters get beaten up to a pulp :] -Both leads girls live with them -Both anime girls are usually stronger than guy -Both guys are oblivious for the fact that the girls like them -Same type of humor -Lots of other things

Both are incredibly humourous shows with a lot of eechi and random humour, though both artstyles may be off putting for some (to be honest i dropped both shows ~3 ep in, but im glad i picked them up again as they are both fantastic heartwarming hilarious series. It gets better later on). Highly recommend sora no otoshimono if youre looking for a bit more action and storyline and can stand some eechi moments.

Although sora no otoshimono is more ecchi based, they are quite similar like fighting
report Recommended by xKwan
Although both have much different plot, sora no otoshimono is still a funny harem ecchi. Many different girls like him and it is quite enjoyable. The only thing to note is that action and fighting scenes don't happen as often and are normally ignored afterwards and funny stuff continues.

When watching Hajimete no Gal I was getting serious flashbacks of the humor from heavens lost property. The MCs in both shows are very similar with their multiple personalities, and perverted adventures. This is a wonderful thing, and so far i'm really enjoying Hajimete.

It's essentially almost the same in terms of Android/Cyborg Angels serving and loving their masters.

They both have a little bit of comedy involved. Even though they are both angels or discuss angels. They both talk about spirituality but use means of comedy to do so.
