Sora no Otoshimono

Sadly I haven`t read the Sora no Otoshimono manga, but judging from the description of it DearS seams very similar to it:
A male protagonist encounters an "angel", later meets a second tsundere-like angel and has an female childhood friend. Though Mitsuki seems to differ from Neneko. 
Both are ecchi series.

Both have similar feel to it a boy find an alien/angel boy not want the alien/angel around than crazy insanity in sues. It has the whole master thing going on collars around the neck and clueless "pets" what more can I say both are very similar.

Both main characters find a cute girl which aren't human.They start living with them. The non-human girl doesn't know about the world around them the the main guy has to teach them. Other people are looking for them because they're different than others of their kind. Also the girls both have collars.

Both the males Tomoki/Takeya act in a similar way but Tomoki is alittle more ecchi
Both have the girls serve their master after they were found out of nowhere
The girls have secret abilitys non human like
The girls are similar on how they act as well and how they treat their master.

if you liked DearS you would like Sora no Otoshimono, the whole slave/master thing drives in them both wit the whole big breast thing going on.

I watched the entire series of Heavens Lost Property and Heavens Lost Property Forte, not including the OVAs. The dears from the show are basically aliens that live their lives being slaves and they don't mind.
Heavens Lost Property is similar because the Angeloids main purpose is to serve their masters. Both series are really good though and I'm currently reading the Heavens Lost Property manga.

Both animes have a similar master servant relationship with the male lead the master and the female lead the servant or slave. Both animes are loaded with comedy and ecchi. Although DearS has relatively less comedy and ecchi as compared to Sora no Otoshimono.

This show lacks the action that is brought by Sora no Otoshimono, even if there wasn't much to begin with. However this show definitely has more just as much if not more comedy to it, also the show completely reminds me of Sora no Otoshimono with the characters as well as the story. The animation lacks slightly, not a lot but still a little bit, however I almost thought DearS was better in my opinion.

they have very i mean similar story's both girls are program to serve one's master and both have child hood friends that like him and wake him up in the frist sceen but whats different it is the main characters DearS isnt a pervert and Sora no Otoshimono is one a big one at that plus Sora no Otoshimono  is hole lot more actin pack

First thing I thought of when watching Heavens lost property was "This reminds of DearS". They both involve a guy who randomly encounters an alien, in DearS it is a DearS, in HLP, it's an Angeloid.

Both are exactly about a non-human girl that enters the life of a male mc while they try to help them out from whatever problem they are in (i.e., if they are being chased by evil organization or runaway, etc.) Non-human girls may at times appear to lack common sense/ have special powers.

Pretty close to the same. If you like one you will like the other.

Alien girl get found by guy that doesn't want anything to do with them (yet). They move in with him and let the hi jinks began. Later on another alien shows up. Second Alien doesn't like the first but they end up beginning friends in the end. While the first alien wants no other thing in the world thank to impress there master and have his affection. But force from there world try to tear them apart.

I literally recommended Sora no Otoshimono to a friend thinking it was DearS.  After watching 3 episodes, I still didn't figure it out until I found DearS and realized sora was a slightly more random version of DearS, at least at first.

Main character lives with a none-human female. The setting and such are quite different, though the enjoyment factor is about the same. Plus there's the ecchi moments you'd expect from such shows, because of the circumstances that are brought up.

Both are about a guy who finds a non-human girl that changes his life making it more interesting. Both girl characters are seemingly emotionless, doe-eyed characters and know nothing about the world. Though they seem emotionless they care alot for their master and it builds on them showing emotion later. There are similar circumstances and focus alot on panties.

Sora no Otoshimono (Known as "Heaven's Lost Property") really IS Heaven's lost property for those who consider heaven to be an anime where sexy robots serve your every desire.  However, there's more to it than just that.  SnO throws a few great curveballs in the mix, such as BEAR WRESTLING and panty explosions.  

Because of other Ecchi comedies like MariaHolic and Softenni, I never thought I'd actually like SnO because that's the category it falls into.  However, it is surprisingly sexy and its humor delivery is great, and does not recycle trash as much as MariaHolic did.  In comparison to Chobits, SnO is equal to or greater than it in terms of sexiness.  I must say, however, that I watched Chobits a long time ago and maybe there could be some things about it that I missed.  Still, speaking objectively, I find it sexier because although its not as... near-pornographic, it certainly is direct with its sexual influence.  However, the sexy stuff is not something that hits very hard, because the blow is softened by genuine humor.

I wouldn't just recommend this to people who like chobits.  In short, if you want Sexy Angeloids + MOTHAFUCKIN BEAR WRESTLING, give this a try. read more

It seems that both animes copied each other. Both anime containing a main character who has big boobs, is from outer space, and live to make the main male character happy, only to ruin his life. Also, the main male characters in both animes can be described as indecisive and extremely ignorant, which sometimes makes you think "why are you even with him?" Bottom line they are harems, sexy, and funny.

In both animes, you can find one (super lucky?) man surrounded by alien beauties. Though there are some differences in the main male character personalities, both series have harem-based plot with some ecchi scenes as bonuses.

Very similar Ecchi and Harem series. Both have an indecisive main character (Tomoki / Rito). Both have a busty girl who comes to "ruin" their lives (Ikaros / Lala), and both fall in love with the main character. Both series mix "religious" and supernatural thematic (Angeloid= Angel Droid / Deviluke= Devil Alien). Both series involves a conflict against an evil powerful leader (Master of Synapse / Gid Lucion Deviluke), who wants back to the main female character in her respective place of origin.

To me, both series are perfect for a crossover.

Both similar school setting, both have perverted main characters (though Tomoki just seems to have that extra edge of coolness even though he can't fight), both ultra sexy girls, good fights (with DxD focusing more on the fights) and both great fun to watch,
They're also like reverses of each with Otoshimono focusing on angels (or what ever they are) and Dxd focusing on devils.

Both series are of the harem genre in which the main protagonist is surrounded by various girls of conflicting personalities. Supernatural, action, ecchi are involved as the story progresses and emotional lines are drawn. Both main guy also are perverted and their minds are filled with thoughts of the opposite sex.

The series is know to have a significant amount of fan service throughout the show with an almost all female cast, and single male character. The main male character is depicted as a good and fun person, with a good sense of caring to his friends. Though they mostly have "fun" playing with the girls through random times and sometimes gets punished in the end. However, what awaits them is a threat, and that they use desperate measures to eliminate them. 

Highschool DXD, focus on demons who uses supernatural powers, and focus on the club activities. Otoshimono focuses on angels who fall down the sky and they are the boy's servants.

If your looking for high quality Ecchi and Heram anime with lots of laughs along the way then High School DxD and Heavens Lost property are for you! Both have badass fight scenes (DxD more so), hilarious perverted MCs, and of course Tig ol' Bitties. Because i mean thats really what we are here for, plenty of fan service! Their is a romance aspect to both, again DxD more so then Heavens Lost Property, which makes the viewer root for certain girls along the way. Also, worth noting is the abundance of episodes, 3 seasons for DxD and 2 seasons for Heavens Lost Proberty. Enjoy!

A guy's peaceful life being turned upside down when girls from a different world come to him. Seems to be only ecchi/comedy, but actually have a deeper meaning about friendship. Some action here and there. Neat animation. Personally liked Sora no Otoshimono more, though.

The similarity in these two are just the weird sense of humor and randomness they both radiate of. The setting is also the same: a guy comes across somehow magically/paranormally wrought women that change his life drastically. They're both very entertaining to watch, especially the fact that they both actually HAVE a good storyline, which sometimes, is a bit interrupted or really strange. Also the sequels of Sora no Otoshimono (SnO: Forte and soon 3 yay! ^^), and Kore wa Zomie Desu Ka?: Of The Dead, are all good continuations of the storyline and again, full of random, retarded, humorous events. I really recommend both animes because they're just a good use of your anime time ;). Oh, and did I mention fanservice in both of them? :3

Sora no Otoshimono and Kore wa Zombie Desu ka are both supernatural ecchi comedy series with good actions scenes. The latter uses less ecchi and has more fights, while the former places a greater emphasis on humour and less on action. They're both fairly similar though.

A highschool boy dreaming of a normal life sees weird girls with weird powers litterally falling from the sky before him, one by one.
The two series have the same kind of humour (completely random), but Sora no Otoshimono is way more ecchi.
You can sometimes see the ghost of a plot behind the two stories but most of the episodes are just a succession of random uplifting events.

Both main characters have a gaggle of mysterious/magical girls enter their peaceful lives and wacky situations procure always arise. Both contain ecchi and comedy and are over the top. Both are super hilarious and should be a must watch from any comedy lover!

The heroines of these series are girl-shaped-weapon who run away from her 'master' and  meet the main guy. Then 'the master' send another 'girls' to catch her. Elfen Lied is a gory version of Sora no Otoshimono.

- Girls belonging to an strange race (Elfen Lied: Diclonious, Sora no Otoshimono: Angeloids)
- The protagonist accepts them as they are, regardless of the biological weapons that are for humanity.
- The main girl escapes and begins to live with the prota. The other girls will be sent to assassinate her.
- These girls were chained and forced to follow orders for fear of dying.
- In both series exists the desire of the new world, which is related to the origin of the girls. Also they are important pieces in the evolution of the races.
- We have the friend of childhood, who is jealous of the affection of these girls towards the protagonist
The girls go beging to know more  the world, living with the closest people. But little by little that smile, will be the beginning of their suffering, of being accepted and of their very existence.
Unlike Elfen Lied, Sora no Otoshimono, it takes time to reach its dramatic effect, since it can also be enjoyed with good comedy. read more

Male leads meet various girls who are supernatural (magical) beings and slowly but surely form a harem consisting of beautiful otherworldly girls. While most of the time these shows run on comedy and action routine, at the climax of the story, it can get very dramatic and emotional.

Help! I can't write a gripping opening that would make anyone ever want to read this recommendation!! 

So I'll just start it here. If you liked Sora no Otoshimono, chances are, you'll like Date a Live. Or... if you liked Date a Live, chances are, you'll like Sora no Otoshimono. OR if you like cute mecha parody anime with a sort of harem amongst one guy, many mecha girls, comedy, and action, you'll probably like either one of these. The two anime relate in the fact that they have a guy who is surrounded by a bunch of mecha/different girlies. In Sora no Otoshimono, the main character happens to 'pick up' a girl who stays by his side as he is her 'master'. In Date a Live, the main character has to save the world by sealing away girl's powers by making them fall in love with him. 

BORING. Right? Nu uh, no way Jose, noppers! Both of these anime will keep you drawn in with a mixture of comical moments and some action packed fights... and some incredibly cute girls. Sora no Otoshimono was more lighthearted and easier to follow compared to Date a Live, as it doesn't have many arcs or twists. Date a Live, on the other hand, gets pretty into it to the fact that you wouldn't think it's a comedy to begin with. However, both anime basically have the same mood and will draw you in if you have enjoyed either one of these series.  read more

Sora no Otoshimono and Date A Live. All the girls fall from the sky, and have different abilities. Some are called angeloids (SnO) and other spirits (DaL). The protagonist accepts them as they are, despite being seen as a danger to humanity. The girls are attracted to the protagonist becoming their protector or teacher, who is always there to help them, even if it is just a human. The thing gets complicated when the girls are manipulated by their own mind (or by others) and can get to finish with the planet. sora no otoshimono and dakara boku both are great animes with a girl who appears and the main guy is forced into helping them through their kindness and end up living with said girl. both have a girl who has loved them since childhood and are competing with the new girl, which makes it quite interesting. overall both series are ecchi and have quite a bit of fanservice but for the most part they really make you laugh and enjoy it more than anything else. dakara boku has a more streamlined plot that progresses in a linear fashion, sora no otoshimono takes some side paths with random episodes. however sora no otoshimono still maintains a great storyline that becomes really involving. of course the main characters are super perverted as well, some may call them tragic flaws but they make the anime better because the characters arent embarrassed to look at the female like so many other animes's protagonists are. plus the scenes often offer comedic relief from super serious moments of the plot. me personally i loved both series  and wish there was a second season to dakara boku, but i think it did exeptional with one season. sora no otoshimono is also a great series and it has a second season which makes it a little more attractive. but if you enjoyed the whole magical girl comes into boring guys life and changes him for the better with some zesty romances in between, then you should try out sora no otoshimono read more

Others have recommended animes like Chobits or DearS. While these animes are similar in story, they don't have the same feel as Sora no Otoshimono. The humor of Sora no Otoshimono has the exact same tone as Inukami. Extremely ridiculous, over the top, ecchi humor that is presented in a unique way. This is interspersed within more serious arcs that provide the occasional relief from the outrageous comedy. 

Basically, if you laughed your ass off watching Inukami, you will find yourself doing the same for Sora no Otoshimono.

The concept is very similar to that of this show and the animation is really similar too. In Sora there are two angels and thats about it but in shuffle there are bunches of demons and gods. Shuffle is a little more going for the romantic drama type anime while Sora no O. is going for the comedy anime.

I started watching Sora no Otoshimono the other day and couldn't understand why I felt like I had already seen it until realizing that it had almost the exact same premise as This Ugly Yet Beautiful World. Girl with big boobs/naked and/or super powers falls from the sky and is under the guidance of a guy. The difference is that This Ugly Yet Beautiful World is more serious and shows naked normal sized breasts, while Sora no Otoshimono is an ecchi comedy with clothed huge breasts. In This Ugly Yet Beautiful World more people have super powers; in Sora no Otoshimono "pantsu" is said at least 14 times an episode. read more

The female main heroine of the series are both quiet, innocent, and their presence gives a somewhat similar atmosphere. Ecchi element is also can be taken as consideration, but sora no otoshimono is more direct than sakurasou.
Viewers can also experience a touching moment in both series.

Majimoji Rurumo and Sora no Otoshimomo share a very similar male and female protagonist. Our male is an extreme pervert who attends high school and is suddenly paired with a angel/witch. Our female lead is very kuudere and ignorant to human culture on earth. These shows are both ecchi/comedies with a supernatural twist, they also showcase excellent character development. If you enjoyed the setting or atmosphere of either show I would recommend trying the other for a similar scenario to carry out.

One day, o boy discover that he is a very beautiful girl with big breast, then hey bear toy explain that he must fight as a kampfer, and kamperfs are girls so he became a girl.

The other story is about a very preverted boy who love his peacefull life and a small city, but one day he find an angel, and she became his slaves.

These 2 animes are the funnyest anime ever. You will laught untill death, so you can't miss them.

Both have angels in them that have a person they should watch over although where Sora no Otoshimono has a better story development in general, Bokusatsu Tenshi Dokuro-chan tops that with the random slaughter and great ecchi humor! But either of both are great!

Sora no Otoshimono is more cheeky than One Room but an absolute gem as well (the protag is a hell of a perv but has a good heart). One room have a cinnamon roll of a protag. I just love the angelical vibe of each anime (btw Sora no Otoshimono have a good and interesting lore).

Both of these series are just some of the funniest things I have ever seen. Arakawa isn't quite as ecchi but it is just as funny. Arakawa doesn't have quite as many girls and isn't a harem type but all the characters have eccentric personalities which will end up making you laugh and love.

Both of this anime is that the main girl will do anything for his master. one of them want to be a part of his family like brother/sister while the other one is that the girl want to marry his master.
 
The difference between these two. One is a serious sci fi drama that make you cry in the end while the other one is a supernatural,comedy,harem,drama with action.

Not-so-ordinary-harem with pretty girls who are not exactly humans.
"Pretty girl is supposed to kill the group but eventually she will join to them" concept.

Sora no Otoshimono is more comedy and Gokukoku is more gore but I like both of them and story is really quite similiar, I'm quite surprised that I'm the first one making this suggestion :)

In a way, these two shows are very similar in what they achieved. First of all, both shows are harem in nature, and contains ecchi and action (in different ways) elements. However, hidden in the latter episodes of both series are dramatic plotlines that heavily emphasizes the main characters of the shows, which are usually not related to the genre these two shows are in.

Though Sora no Otoshimono hasn't been aired yet, its preview reminded me greatly of Asura Cryin'. In both animes there is a schoolboy protagonist surrounded by female characters posessing some special abilities. The male protagonist becomes involved in some adventures with unnatural flavour. In the end, everything depends on him, I guess.

Both series have a the main character that enjoy a particular life style, Keima is playing his dating sims and Tomoki is living in peace, and a girl that pops out of nowhere that turns their world upside down, for Keima it is the demon Elsie, and for Tomoki it is Ikaros. Both of them have to find a way to deal with this new complex life, Keima it is to conquer girls, while Tomoki is to prevent chaos from occuring. Also both series does not have a serious plot, but a nice relaxing tone is what they both have. And a lot of humorous scenes is also what they both have in common. read more

Both are incredibly humourous shows with a lot of eechi and random humour, though both artstyles may be off putting for some (to be honest i dropped both shows ~3 ep in, but im glad i picked them up again as they are both fantastic heartwarming hilarious series. It gets better later on). 
Highly recommend sora no otoshimono if youre looking for a bit more action and storyline and can stand some eechi moments.

Although both have much different plot, sora no otoshimono is still a funny harem ecchi.  Many different girls like him and it is quite enjoyable.  The only thing to note is that action and fighting scenes don't happen as often and are normally ignored afterwards and funny stuff continues.
