There both tremendously funny. Both have similar characteristics, such as: the protagonist is an idiot, girls tend to fall in love with these idiots, both have crude humor.

In Baka to Test all the characters run around in a chibi form when the fight and in Sora no Otoshimono so does the main character. Both of the shows are funny and pertain to school life.

Both are hilarious. Both have perverted main characters. Both envolve the main character being completetly oblivious to the girls advances.
Both are comedies that are centered around rather not very smart protagonists. Both protagonists have the affection of several females, and in Akihisa Yoshii's case, even a male. Baka to Test has a more lighthearted tone while in Sora no Otoshimono, even though remaining comedy for most of its episodes, some of them show something more behind all the slapstick and perverted humor. It's also worth noting Shimada Minami and Mitsuki Sohara are incredibly similar in personality. With that said, both are quite enjoyable and if you think so of one of the two, you should definitely check out the other.
