Gamified world with absurdly ovewrpowered protagonist akin to being a cheater, a power fantasy for a videogame fan, as is reflected in the similar designs of the main character.

The dungeon world and mechanics behind the leveling system are similar. And, in the same way for DanMachi and Solo Leveling, the main character powerlessness and potential for improvement at the beginning of the series makes you rooting for him and wanting to witness his road to success.

The main protagonist from Ore dake Level Up na Ken and Tate no Yuusha no Nariagari are pretty similar. - They both are among the chosen people to save the world. - They started weak, and often getting underestimated by others. - They are trying to learn and adapt with the new system they got. - After a lot of hard work, they become stronger and reliable. There is also a similarity in how they have to fight the monsters in a specified zone.

Solo Levelling and Gate share similar concepts where a fantasy realm converges into the real world through an actual "Gate" or Portal in the attempt to wreak havoc to the people on earth. The weaponization power systems and organizational structure is well explored to bring a level of realism and more high stakes. On top of that, political & business agenda's are often used as pretext for power plays when it comes to dealing with the fantasy realm and its elements. What's slightly differentiates between the two shows is that humanity has an overwhelming advantage and stability in the world of Gate: Jietai. Whereas in Solo  read more

Both main characters start off weak and progressively becomes stronger, gaining new abilities and gear by battling monsters. Both main characters hide their true strength. Solo Leveling seems to be inspired by Tensei shitara, in the sense that both of the main characters interact with a system UI unique to them. Both animes are set in a fantasy MMO RPG like world, with Solo Leveling being a crossover between the modern world and fantasy. Tensei shitara focuses on character development and world development. Solo Leveling is mostly focused on character development, but both animes still have a similar vibe.

Sung & Sunraku fight tough monsters to level up in a similar game fashion setup, both are fun action packed series with various entertaining fights against a variety of foes to get through.

Both involve a bunch of low experience people being tasked to go on dangerous missions by higher corporations. They are also extremally brutal with lots of intense moments and deaths

Both are very brutal featuring young characters battling with strange entities from another world, They also have strong characters and a good story.

These two involves dungeon exploring where the main plot is to level up and get stronger with a constant amount of brutal and survival action with RPG mechanics and does not offer much in terms of plot.

They are observable things in common between Solo Leveling (Ore dake Level up na Ken) and The God of High School particularly through their action oriented nature: -The protagonist wears a hoodie at times. -Badass transformations and fight scenes. -The main characters engage in battles. In Solo Leveling (Ore dake Level Up na Ken) the protagonist is enrolled to go on rank quests while people fight in tournaments in The God of High School. -Great animation 🔥, but The God of High School wins. -Fantasy themes are a key part. -Superpowers Differences: -The God of High School has more humor with a bit of it whereas Solo Leveling (Ore dake Level Up na  read more

Both are Manwha adaptations where the main theme is about a young guy of a similar style and personality going through dangerous dungeons facing off many enemies and obstacles with the main goal of leveling up or getting to somewhere

both anime share a lot of similiraty in the aspect of the mixed reality and going thru portals to change world. the way they interact with the world is also look alike of a video game. both are going into the world collecting drop items as any other dungeon anime.

There is “gate” in both anime. There are different ability level in human and in teams, some are high level and some are low level. Both are action, adventure, fast paced, good drama anime.

The protagonist of both series starts off weakest compared to everyone around them; but rises through the ranks overtime to become the opposite of weak in each of their own way.

If you are loving Solo leveling, i think quanzhi fashi is for you guys as well. Even though it's a kind of an isekai but it has similar trope and really great world building. Trust me , you won't regret watching it even though it's a low budget anime so keep your expectations low about the animations and all.

Both of these shows share bloody action and lots of fast-paced fights. They also emanate a similar vibe that I think both fanbases like about their shows. I don't think all fans of either show will definitely enjoy the other, but I definitely think they should give it a try.

The MC in this show has the exact power that the MC in solo leveling has. A game like UI where he's prompted a quest he needs to fulfill then he'll get a reward, or a penalty if he fails. Also is overpowered

Both series have an extremely strong main character In both series, their strengths are occasionally emphasized through the side characters. In both series, the main characters hide their potential. In both series, the main characters are dull-eyed. In both series the main characters coolly refuse interesting offers. In both series the main characters don't feel anything when they kill someone. In both series the main characters are "almost" immortal. In both series, the hunters and mages who are presented as powerful are rather mediocre compared to the main character. In both series, the characters' goals are simple. Both series have villians who are inherently evil without depth. In both series the production quality is incredible. The  read more
