It is also about human like robots or androids

Both series share the same line of premise that engulf war conflict between Humans, Robots and AI. They dive into the deep human emotions after the acquisition of machines which had become a staple everywhere in the world. Vivy and Gesicht have a precise difficult goal where they go through many hardships that have a huge effect on them hence why they lose everything in the process either it being death or the lose of a precious memory.

Both are fantastic, darker and more mature re-imagined re-adaptations of old works. both are also series that deal with the nature of humanity, and whether robots can achieve that.
report Recommended by MaximumBeef
Both shows with a tight and suspenseful narrative full of mystery and intrigue, with complex and fully realised characters, while simultaneously navigating themes of what it means to be truly human, the horrors and emptiness of genocidal war, and the hope in fighting for humanity regardless of the odds.

• If you want to watch something which will make you think about the current situation of the world go watch Jin-Rou and Pluto. Both the anime explore the horror of war and it's aftermath. • There is a vert famous quote which goes like this " Evils are not born they are created" and both the anime really explore this idea in the most perfect way as possible. • Other then that both the anime is targeted towards the mature audiences and sometimes thing can be too complicated to understand. Their isn't any comidy and the stakes in both the anime is always high  read more

The character of Dr Tenma from Pluto holds similarities in appearance and personality with the character of Gendo Ikari in Neon Genesis Evangelion. The relationship between Dr Tenma and Atom is also similar to the relationship between Gendo and Rei Ayanami however Dr Tenma and Atom share a more healthy and positive relationship. You could possibly argue that Gendo took elements from Dr Tenma from Astro Boy, however the Dr Tenma from Pluto resembles Gendo much more.

Androids solving crimes, forming families, and learning what it means to be human through music and suffering. Technoroid: Overmind androids combine logic and love to form the most optimal family. Pluto robots feel like they mimic their humans' social norms. Each anime tackles a murder mystery, discrimination, and the question "do androids dream of electric sheep?" The answer is, of course, no. They dream in plot relevant flashbacks just like humans.

I know, I know... The shows are rather different in terms of setting, style and presentation. However, at their core they are mystery shows that are adapted from legendary manga/TV series that tell an arc of each respective story from a unique view. Semi related, I'd also say that if you like any Sci Fi series you should love Pluto!

Both are detectives that feature sentient robots that suddenly gain the ability to kill people, even though they are programmed to not.
report Recommended by Seinentard
Both are well written and well animated shows about robots dealing with emotion. Violet Evergarden is more grounded and episodic, while Pluto has a plot with mystery and action.

Sci-Fi anime with undertones that contain suspenseful scenes and are made for mature audiences.

both series' are supposed to be a commentary on society. Beastars uses animals to communicate discrimination by using things like herbivores and carnivores. Pluto uses robots and humans to do this and utilises stuff like mechanical and biological things. Both showcase discrimnation and unjust in society. Both are a reimagining of the current world but they both substitute it with other things but essentially the problems in beastars and pluto are evident in the real world too!

Both shows deal with machine emotions, human greed & war theme along with the consequence of the hatred encapsulated in the tragedies of death in both camps. It shows the reality of how the world works through subtle use of several plot points with the message that robots are created to be like humans although It's a double edged sword that can end the world. Action is above par with deep themes, well written characters & great premise.

Robots and Ai's living together with humanity in harmony. Both show make us wonder about similar topics, like- "What is really the difference between humans and robots?" "Can robots have their own heart and soul just like humans?" Same vibes, Ai no Idenshi has less violence, more focused on everyday life, while Pluto is more about solving a case.

I'm not spoiling shit, just go read the manga. The anime adaptation is good if you need to be sold on the quality, but only has a single season, so you're not really gonna see the parallels in the anime alone.

Both are Sci-Fi political anime with realistic and brilliant characters. Also, both shows are full of intense moments and astounding revelations that leave the viewer surprised and satisfied.

Similar settings and themes, questions the ethics of artificial intelligence and where the boundary between human and machine is drawn.
