Ikkitousen is a cheap rip off of Tenjou Tenge with more ecchi, if that's possible. Tenjou Tenge is definitely a better anime, and more serious.  

If you like Tenjou Tenge because of its super smash brawling action, courtesy of Nagi and the Natsume sisters, then Ikkitousen's Sonsaku Hakufu and her subordinates won't disappoint you. 

Hot, fighting girls ;) Interesting story

Both feature a ton of action, a lot of fan service, and both share a fairly ridiculous storyline.... Need I say more? 

they both involve FIGHTING in SCHOOL as well as an ECCHI factor (well not as much) i guess that's it... nothing else to say... 

Both take place in high schools where marshal arts are the center of all things. Also, the characters in both series posses supernatural powers that enhance their marshal arts. 

These two are a couple of maybe the best fighting anime of all times. 

The settings are similar - high school with martial arts/fighting focus. There's a lot of action, drama, and fanservice, although I personally would recommend Tenjho Tenge over Ikki Tousen simply because it has better fight scenes. 

School Life, Comedy , Ecchi , Fights all looks the same ;p 

Both are filled with tons of ecchi, "high school" kids fighting each other over respect and territory, and tons of girls with over the top... well you know. In the end, while Ikkitousen seems to focus on fan service and nothing else, Tenjou Tenge actually has a story worth paying attention to, as well as characters that don't have stereotypical personalities.  

This is pretty much the same anime to me but Tenjou Tenge was way better. You should still enjoy this one though if you like Tenjou Tenge as it is the same type of fighting and theory in the anime.

They both have strong girls, a lot of fights, and some perverted scenes. 

Fighting,Echii goodness in a school where teachers are nowhere to be found, filled with boys on steroids and girls that look like they just came fresh out of a brothel.Makes you wonder if they really are underage. 

In both, students at a school are made to fight. Mostly girl's, and the guys are either at the head of command or are made to assist the women. Both have extreme ecchi, which doesn't faze me, but as a warning. 

To call something such as Ikki Tousen & Freezing classics would to many film critics be pretty similar to getting emotionally bludgeoned to death with a lead pipe! But there is always room for quality teenage hormone pandering in the hall of fame. With that said Ikki Tousen and Freezing are similar as they are amongst the best of its genre, forget about character driven story-lines lets utilize panty shots and boob slips as plot development!! That goes without saying, Freezing and Ikki Tousen are examples of the fap worthy editions to the harem-ecchi-action-school life anime that are never afraid to dwindle with what they want to be, forget censored crap this is the way to go to appeal to the 13 year old immature male within us all. read more

Both are fan service based action/martial arts series. However Ikkitousen is service packed. Both are pretty good watches though 

The core of both shows is fighting, supernatural powers, and busty near-naked and sometimes completely naked girls. 

Both series contain quite a lot of fan-service so be wary of that before considering watching. The series contain a lot of action as well featuring powerful female characters being dominant. Both series contain a lot of comedy as well drama. The action in both series comes from the fighting with the girls most time half-dressed. The main girl in both series are also clueless about a lot of things but having good skills in the art of combat.  

Both anime are somehow based ot the novel "Romance of the three kingdoms". In both you can find hot kick-ass babes. It's fun to watch it. If you like one of them you'll the other too.

Both ecchi, both dont mind having a casual boob or flop out during battle. Epic fight scenes Reincarnation of samurai & warriors idea with history background Though ikkitouen has a lot more fighting and is far more serious than Samurai girls. Samurai girls is harem with comedy while there is nothing like that in ikkitousen. Overall they have many similarities and many differences. I hope that you can enjoy both.
