They're both harems show in which the "harem" led by the male protagonist is somewhat identical
report Recommended by Transvoid
Both have a similar feel and art style. Both have a leading female character who is omnipotent.

Battles between classes. The best is Class S (Maji de) and Class A (Baka). The worst class is Class F.

Really similar characters (we even have two Kuki Agehas, who looks almost the same). Also, main characters in each series resembles to others.
report Recommended by Nolongerusedxx
Both anime are school of martial arts oriented ecchi series filled with strong battle ready maidens. While Majikoi has more male characters than Senran Kagura the humor is similar. If you like ecchi and are a fan of one of the series, you may very well enjoy the other.

Both of these Anime deal with school settings and Samurai lenages. Both also aired during the same time frame.

Both have the one male vibe Both surrounded by strong female characters Both have someone the male looks up to Both have a single strong female - Single strong female secretly loves the main male in both

both guys getting liked by many girls both guys only like one girl more than the other however maji de has action mix in with ecchi, while mashiro have more romantic feeling to it.

Battles between characters where nobody gets seriously Injured, but is still acted out as overly dramatic.

- girls are the fighters -girls in love with main guy -both protecting something important -both near death experienceses -unkown who the true bad guy is(maji is the gov.?, date a live ?)

Both main male characters are weak with strong females always protecting them, it also has extreme fanservice and harem

It's exactly like Hagure, but instead the main male character is, Let's say, more brains then broad. Also, all female main characters are inlove with the main male character which makes it all the more hilarious. YES there is a lot of fight scenes, Ecchi as well. There are a lot of porn references with the main character which made it even MORE funnier. Last thing, the females on here are badass, fighting is epic.

maji de watashi reminds me of Ben-to, different plot but, the same style. Students enjoying fighting for something. Strong and awesome girls too. If you like those things, go watch it :D
report Recommended by Luuji222
both anime the MC are smart and good for making a strategy, but powerless physically. Surrounded by a bunch of cute and lovable girls (I am really a fan of this concept :D) If you want to enjoy your night, go have a marathon. enjoy!

Super powered girls surround a seemingly normal guy. Both schools they attend gives the group of main Charcthers missions and the school itself is strange and full of strong people. But the difference eraser the main guy is in Hidan no Aria he can be decivingly strong and brave while In Majiko oh samurai girls the main guy uses his brain instead of his strength, and Both of Harrem/Action too.

Do u like 'onee-chan' characters?.Especially ones with nice boobs ,are RIDICULOUSLY OP /strong ,and have that 'hard exterior ,goey center' kinda personality. Yep thats what common between these two anime. Witch Crafts fights are more ridiculous and comical (Spoiler : nobody dies :/) and also it doesnt have much echii nor a big harem. It does however have a pretty nice cast of interesting characters, especially the so called villians. Neither is an excellent anime, but both make for a pretty good watch.

Seraphim and Momoyo are like the same person. Both shows have the same feel, which may be just because they're both comedy harems. For harems, both shows have fairly memorable women. I'd reccomend Kore wa Zombie Desu ka if you liked Majikoi and want something similar but more zany.

Similarities - Both MC with Harem life - Most of the girl in the series only care for MC - The other boy/man character is just small role - Weak MC EVER!!! - Both also have the same action genre. Different - This series MC got his CRUSH - School War instead of Rail Wars - RW fanservice only Majikoi dirty talk n thing n Fanservice

>These two animes make 18+ jokes, scenes deliberately. >Has a strong female suit to partake difficult problems. >The Main character is not very charming rather likes to have a easy way out but is dependable when the time comes. >Story occurs in highschool environment. >Has Ecchi scenes. >Some of the girls are crazy for MC. >Only has one season to enjoy, sadly and most probably won't get another one.

By this I mean that the VN is really similar to the anime. People that enjoyed the VN might enjoy this. A lot of similar character types: Wanko = Rin Gakuto = Masato Kyousuke = Capt Kurugaya = Momoyo Both are about a group of friends and their adventures.

Maji de Watashi Koi Shinasai! is another anime based heavily on action scenes and fanservice, although less of the latter than HotD. Though not yet complete, Watashi Koi Shinasai has quite a bit of potential to develop into an excellent story.

both have team planning . both have strong girls. both have may girls. both have all out war. both fight as team. both have leader. both have strategic planning and fighting. both have same feel while watching.

the same contents; comedy, echi, martial arts, romance. and all the girls in the anime love the main male characters, and they would give their lives to save him. Also, he is somewhat skilled in martial arts.

After the first few episodes of Majikoi, I felt some similiarity between these two series. They both have kinda the same atmosphere, and in both few characters twaddle talking pretty fast and the humour in it resembles each other. (ex. Majikoi's Mayuzumi Yukie and Oretsuba's Haneda Kobato)

Similar war like battles but in a modern day setting. Instead of battles between counties/nations, we have here battles between different school classroom.

Well, both of it are very much alike cause both of the show tells about samurai and of course...the harem A lot of fanservice in both of it

The anime is pretty similar in fighting and there are hot girls

Both are about a smart guy who is protected by girls who know martial arts and both are harem-Ecchi-comedy-actions.Both male MCs are usually cold to the girls but the diffrences is that in Maji de Watashi ni koi shinasai! The male MC is a little perverted but try's to fight even though he cannot do much, while in Sumomomo momomo the main guy just avoids violence.

Maji de watashi ni koi shinasai is about a school meant to harness skills in battle same goes for chrome shelled regios however chrome shelled regios is more action pact and very well written plot unlike Maji the story mostly revolve around everday school life and their duties
report Recommended by sashimee-kenna
Both have fighting and use of powers. Both have same ecchi content. Maji de Watashi ni Kio Shinasai! Has school life where Samurai Girls just has life in a dojo .
report Recommended by summonrun3
Both are comedy and have female samurai characters (martial arts), fighting scenes, and a boy surrounded by girls (harem). Both are comedy, romance, and in a school setting.
report Recommended by jbeat
Both are Harem/Action/Ecchi with a guy who can really do nothing and super powered girls around him who protect them.In Maji de Watashi ni Koi Shinasai the guy has no powers but contributes to the group through thinking up stratagies while in Kampfer even though the guy has a power he more holds the group back then contributes.
