Shoujo mangas usually get on my nerves royally because of the heroines who are just too crazed and I find that its always the girl chasing after the guy, even if she didn't intend to in the first place but fell in love anyway - And I get it, that's the demographic.

This manga was far from perfect, the plot was generic, the rich bishie's been done before but they added a twist to the girl, she's strong but she doesn't want attention, she's not fawning all over the guy because he's rich, because he's handsome, she's actually pushing her feelings away instead of pursuing them impulsively - Riko shows a maturity that far surpasses her peers in this type of manga and I respect her greatly as a character.

Concerning the art, I gave it a nine because, as someone who cannot draw anything worth more than half a cent, I'm easily impressed by all the flashy hair waves and all that. I think the mangaka's illustrations were absolutely beautiful and I had to stop myself from melting whenever Ran looked all soft-hearted :P - I also enjoyed that the heroine was very cute but there weren't any girls tryna say she wasn't.

Overall, I loved this manga, it was EXACTLY what I've been looking for, my only complaint is that its only 2 volumes. I thoroughly enjoyed it and I wish that I had taken my time because nothing feels the same twice ^^
