Toriko and Dungeon Meshi takes on an unique approach with its adventurous themes. It takes the idea of cooking and introduces monsters as part of its ingredients. Of course, that also evolves action as characters fights powerful beasts to acquire certain properties to make the right food. Both series has a diversity of monsters as part of their high fantasy setting.
Both series are "cooking adventures" and take place in a world where its inhabitants can eat fictional creatures.
