The protagonists are both teenagers and are connected to influential and important fights. Their fathers are important people in the story, but they don't take action. They have complexes about their own actions, that always when they try to do something by their own, they'll fail. While Shinji is a regular boy with father issues and no special skills, Eliah from Eden is capable to do something. He doesn't know his father that well, but the friends of his father tell him sometimes, that he's like his father. You will like the other manga, if you liked the other one. they both contain many metaphors
