- Couple that is together for reasons not related to romance
- Gradual blooming of romance in both, there's no 'Dai suki' right off the bat
- Both intersperse a lot of comedy amidst the romance, the bulk of the material is actually comedic with romantic plot advancement sprinkled in between.
- Nisekoi definitely has more harem elements to it than Toradora! does if that floats your boat.
- It is fairly obvious early on in both series who MC is going to end up with, but it is harder to tell in Nisekoi than in Toradora! if you like that sort of thing.
If you like tsunderes, like me, I've got something just up your alley, my guy, both of these series have the female protagonist being mean to the protagonists in the beginning, hilarity and cute moments ensues, both have mostly the same genre/sub-genre and the artstyle and character design are of great quality, some of the other characters have also their counterparts (kinda), special mention to the best friend of the protagonists, they are total bros in both of them and they both have a saga about them that it's handled similarly, besides that the romance in both mangas is handed similarly (in it's certain aspects
