I feel that Eden no Hana is similar to The Name of the Flower in many ways. The most profound similarity in my eyes though, has to be the severe depth of emotion it shows. The complex backgrounds to feelings found in Eden no Hana always keeps you on the edge of your seat. Another similarity is the relationship between characters. In Eden no Hana, The two main characters (Midori and Tokio) are said to be brother and sister reunited by Tokio's desire to find his long lost sister.
