Both female leads dressed as males by force. They encounter many handsome male characters who will fall in love with her. One in a school's host club the other in the showbiz world.
Both series have similar plots, similar character relations, similar love triangles, similar character designs and an overall similar feel. Both Yukari and Haruhi are short, small breasted scholarship girls who get pushed into a life where they're surrounded by rich, stunningly good looking guys. And in both cases, the girls have to disguise themselves as a boy. They're both more intelligent than your average cutesy shouju main, and they're also both really poor.
I also think that Ryou and Aya from PR have a similar relationship to Tamaki and Kyouya from OHSHC and, in some respects, even similar personalities.

well, both series are similar to each other. both of them follow the life of a poor but smart girl that enters a host club/talent agency more or less because if money and both girls have to dress as a guy in order to work there. also, their appearances when they dress as a boy are somewhat similar.
also, the other characters resemble each other too. tamaki resembles ryou, they are both smart but naive, energetic (more than the girl anyway) and they both get really hyped up when they are happy and they look alike. then, hikaru resembles ayaori, they are both the lonely type
