Boy lives with a group of girls under one roof. Girls all misunderstand him and think he's a pervert. The only real difference between the two manga is that in Love Hina the main character is trying to study and get into a University wile living in an all womens dorm where as in Ashita no Yoichi the main character is training to help better himself as a samurai and the dojo happens to be full of just women.

Both of these romantic comedies share the similar premise of a male student living in a house preoccupied by a number of females. The narrative of both serialisations is light-hearted with comedy, romance, and ecchi being the main focus.
