both have:
- gritty artstyle
- compelling, dystopian plot
- broke young protagonists whose body is inhabited by some sort of organism
- grim feel with comedic moments to lighten up the misery in both universes (albeit chainsaw man's humor is cruder than fool night's)
Overall, both series are amazing in their own right and at times are reminiscent of each other despite having completely different storylines. imo, they're definitely must reads !!
