Both novel series revolves around a similar central concept: the plot of the storybook (within the story) featured in each volume are highly similar to the reality in the story and can predict how the story turns out. Other than that, the two series couldn't be more different. Bungaku Shoujo is a high school normal series where the protagonist are often embroiled in weird situations, while Tatakau Shisho is a action, war series taken place in a fantasy world.
