Exactly the same formula is placed in the titles - a mysterious girls and expanding dead premise which is still dead. Overall, they mean nothing for plot, but if you want to get a synopsis before the next season, take "Sora no Otoshimono". Or if you want to see so poor fanservice, cuz you have just watched the second season, choose "Date a live".
These two movies are near parallel and takes place after their second seasons.
The movies consist of a mysterious new girl, born out of love for MC-kun. She loses control of her powers, the main heroines of the series has to help MC-kun save her. There's even a scene in both movies where the heroines are battling in the air at half power then goes to the transformation scene and they get their full power for the climax to battle the new girls out of control weapon/power.
