Two societies put in contrast; one being fully advanced, technology wise, and the other not so much. Two characters are put in between them and are bound to help each other in situations of war or pure conflict.
Both are mature anime series with a ghibli-like world, both deal with adventure and politics, and have one lively female around the main character, another similarity is that there's a group of religious fanatic people trying to mess with MC and his friends.
Both series has a lot of potential but kinda miss the expectations.
