Both are absolutely perfect and hilarious parodies of typical shoujo genres, Ouran of otome/reverse-harems and Binan of the magical girl warrior genre (like Sailor Moon). Ouran does this by having an unusual heroine who takes things in stride and just won't play along with the shoujo script.
