They both have slow romances and are somewhat reverse harems. They were also both very funny. Although Ouran and Kamisama were about different things, they both focused on character and relationship building and growth. They are both fun and light animes, both really great mangas too, with satisfying endings. I liked Nanami (Kamisama) and Haruhi (Ouran) because neither of them were excessively girly. Though they are different, they were both very strong female leads.
The main character in Kamisama is also a poor and has many guys after her. Both romance comedies. If you're anything like me and have always loved Fruits Basket and Ouran High Host Club and have spent time looking for something that invokes similar feelings, this is the one!
Kamisama Kiss and Ouran High School Host Club are both shoujo animes. The main character in both animes have a lot it common. For example, at first they seem shy, and unsure of themselves, but they turn out to have strong personalities. Both Haruhi (Ouran High School Host Club) and Nanami (Kamisama Kiss) are surrounded by guys who care for them.
In general, the way both series evolve is similar, and they both have an identical comedic tone.
I loved both these anime series very much, and I hope you enjoy them as much as I do !

Pretty similar in terms of the story. The only difference is it has a god element in the story. Both are fun to watch.

If the reverse-harem style romance story exhibited in Ouran High was something that you really enjoyed, you'll likely appriciate Kamisama Kiss, where out of nowhere Nanami is forced to start working as a shrine maiden, a situation similar to our dear Haruhi and her poor luck with becoming employed as a host. However lucky for Nanami, there is a lovable cast of handsome deities that begin fawning over her, not unlike Haruhis' situation in the Host Club!
Romance comedies featuring a strong-willed brunette dealing with zany antics out of their control - and perhaps falling for a dashing gentleman. Go Kamisama is you're seeking a more supernatural spin.
Both funny and sweet. My favourite anime romcoms.
