They are both cute, crazy animes.These animes are suitable for all ages .And believe me watching both anime will be a great experience
If you like the character of the boys in' Ouran' then you will definetly those in gakuen heaven (the boys are even cuter)also. And yeah, the art ,cuteness and innocence are even better in gakuen heaven than 'ouran' however Ouran has much more comedy in it.
There is a great similarity in both animes. Both animes puts you in the same mood. In Ouran high school host club, the story is about a girl surrounded by a pack of crazy and funny rich guys

Both are set in a private elite high school and both have lot of romance in it as well and also alot of lgbt elements in it as well too and both have had visual novels based around their works too.
Also lot of feel good moments of wholesomeness as well too in it.
