Both of these series were animated by Kyoto Animation, featuring similar quality and style in animation. Both accentuate cute "moe" qualities, light but relaxing slice of life-like episodes, and innocent high school comedy.
Most of the events in both stories occur within a high school club. Both are full of humor and plenty of "moe"

Both rely on clubs, though admittedly go in completely diffrent directions. the art is also similar.

The slice of life is very similar in both series and they both have the same kind of "club" ideas, which is too promote theres and achieve .

There's a certain episode that they play in a cultural festival it kinda remind of that :))
