As I was watching Zero no Tsukaima, I couldn't stop thinking about how related it was with Suzumiya Haruhi no Yuutsu.
The first thing I noticed was the relation between Yuki and Tabitha. Those two could be twin sisters. No kidding.
But then I started noticing some other similarities.
In both series, there is a bossy girl that drags a guy into her crazy world. And that treats him like a slave. I still think that if Louise and Haruhi ever met, they would probably be very good friends. Kyon and Saito are both completely normal (big-boobs-lovers), japanese guys.

Both are highly influential anime (specially Haruhi) from what some call (wrongly) the golden age of anime, where anime was starting to get popular thanks to internet. Suzumiya Haruhi No Yutsuu influence went to scholar, Moe and Sci-Fi type of anime and Zero No Tsukaima isekai anime (even if Hack predates it, a lot of tropes and clichés came from here), and the female protagonist possibly started a lot of other similar characters, furthermore it's that both are popular light novel adaptation that most possibly can be attribute to how many LN adaptations are made today.
