Firstly both are from the same creator, what makes them very similar just for that. - The main characters are very similar, both in talent and personality. - Same style of comedy but it's stronger on Drifters than Hellsing. - The animation/art style is very similar as well, expect the exact same style on both. I really recommend watching the other if you liked one of those!

Source material created by the same person. If you liked Hellsing and you happen to also like historical figures you will more then likely like this anime so give it a try.

In terms of style, personality, and aesthetic, they are similar. That being the case because of the fact that the author is the same for both. If you like rough, gritty action scene with again, a bit of personality with them shown through said action, then this would be two to at least check out.

Same author, similar style of humor, bloodfest, and both have a brutal and gory action

Drifters is a must-watch for everyone who liked Hellsing. With similar storytelling, art style and fast-paced, bloody action they manage to deliver awaited amusement. They both even have same amount of peculiar ideas and same kind of pesky comic relief scenes.

If you loved Hellsing you will love this Bad ass heroes , blood , cool battles and many other

From the same mangaka. The main characters are a bit crazy. There is a lot of red: clothes and blood, and a mixture of darkness and humor.

You'll see the same handwriting of producer Ueda Yasuyuki the first picture appear on the screen. Blood, gore, violence - everything you loved so much in Hellsing will be here (just in a bit smaller dose).

The style of drawing is similar, the author is the same and both have a very similar action and a lot of blood

the art style is the exact same as this series along with its sometime dark humorous animation. The show contains alot of blood and the characters are kind of OP but not even close to Alucard.

- same Art Style - both have Badass Main Character - both have a lot of blood, gore, violence - if you liked Hellsing you like Drifters as well

The two are from the same autor, The two have a lot of gore

I found myself liking both for the same reasons: - Intense violence - Badass characters with over-the-top personalities - Same art style - Completely misplaced humor within the violence - Over-the-top badassery They are both written by Kouta Hirano so if you liked one, you will DEFINITELY like the other as the storytelling and characters are pretty much identical to one another.

Drifters is pretty much Hellsing medieval style so if you enjoyed Driffters u ll get the same thing from Hellsing Ultimate just with a much cooler MC.

If you loved the gore, the characters and the story-line from Hellsing Ultimate then you're in for a treat while watching Drifters. Drifters is like a successor to Hellsing Ultimate in particularly everything except fan-service which is kind of let down but makes up by being insanely gory and having a weird cast of characters that have a unique, awesome and bad-ass chemistry with each other

Both are from the same author and so have a similar artstlye. Both have satisfying amounts of gore. Characters from both series make crazy grins whenever they're in battle or if things are going according to plan.
