Ultimate and Book of Circus are both re-adaptations that follow the original manga arcs with very little to no deviation. This is in contrast to both the series original anime adaptations which only covered a small percentage of the manga and the rest of the show is anime original. Only difference is that Book of Circus does not cover the whole manga but rather a specific arc of the manga. Outside of that, both shows are similar because of the following:
