“Howl no Ugoku Shiro” has been my favorite movie for many years and i recently finished watching “Kuragehime” so I could lsit the similarities forever but I must also say that both even tough in essence are the same, they convey the story differently and each one has aspects the other dose not.
“Kuragehime” is a Josei and I think “Howl no Ugoku Shiro” also has that nice sentimental feel about it.

OKay, just want to say that the storyline and the worlds are NOT similar in anyway. It's just the character Howl and Kuranosuke LOOKS SIMILAR! They look like they can be related in a way haha. SO if your're a fan of HOWL then I recommend you watching Kuragehime. :D Well, Howls Moving Castle is set in a fantasy world where magic exist, whereas Kuragehime is set in Tokyo, a slice of life anime about a NEET girl entering the fashion industry due to a beautiful/handsome crossdressing guy Kuranosuke (Howl-look-alike).
