If you like series where the main character follows after their dream, then Kaleido Star is another good one. With a more colorful palatte (it IS A circus after all), humor and charming characters, Kaleido Star goes along way with Sora reaching to be a star at the Kaleido Stage. Both series similarly have a standing rivalry between girls, Sora the one starting from the bottom and Layla, the one already on top and still reaching higher.
