Both have a comedic and romantic plots.
The protagonists are both strong and they are having hard time to realize that they are in-love in both boys. Also Usui and Ryuuji are both good in cooking.
Both girls in each series are tough. Also there are love/hate relationships. Both have comedy, romance, & school life story lines (^^)

They're both romantic comedies, though there is more romance in Toradora!. They're both great animes and definitely good watches
Toradora! is a great watch if you enjoyed Kaichou wa Maid-sama! The two of them are both great romances with great comedy and drama to keep you enticed. While Kaichou wa Maid-sama! was more episodic in nature, Toradora! follows a straight plotline, it manages to keep you on the edge of your seat with drama, and also makes you laugh your heart out in comedy, all while wrapping up each episode nicely as to not leave unnecessary cliffhangers. I really loved Maid-sama and Toradora! equally. They have the same kind of story and atmosphere but the characters are a bit different.
Both animes makes you smile and are about love. Both are very funny too, if you liked Maid-sama you will like Toradora! (This is my first recomendation so eh.. XD maybe not the best)

- Both Taiga and Misaki fell in-love with the guy they once hated, their love stories are full of surprises, that's why it's very fun to watch.

maid sama is a bit like toradora, both are romances with a bit of comedy and a female lead with anger issues ( who i guess you could call tsunderes ) who falls for a guy they hated at the start but that's about it in terms of similarities since toradora is way better than maid sama in every way, don't let me stop you from watching it tho
