Slow bloom. Toradora and Josee Tiger Fish both follow the same premise and start-up, and really and truly, are the same thing but the story has different attributes.
Toradora is based in a school where protags Ryuuji and Taiga play matchmakers for each other. Josee Tiger Fish is about Tsueno and his time caring for Josee. Both female MCs are bitchy violent tsunderes you'd either grow to love or hate with their male partners who don't really know anything about fighting for themselves.
You want something that blooms from dumb arguments to a more wholesome relationship? The two anime are the place to go for.

- A kind and homely boy with little money
- A girl with a bad temper, sharp tongue, doesn't trust anyone and is rude to strangers, with some bodily discomfort.
On their first date they fight and the girl immediately hates the male protagonist, even though he does his best to take care of her. After that he gains the trust of the female protagonist and they build a great relationship with each other. And the girl is shown to be very careful, attentive and affectionate with the male protagonist.

Unlikely duos become in love.
Both are light-hearted shows and great shows to enjoy without overthinking about the plot but just enjoy the romance developed.
Do not care too much about illogical events. As long as it makes some sense, just go with the flow of the story to enjoy the most out of both shows.

Toradora! is my personal favourite series and unbeaten in anyway. However I made here this recommendation for Josée purely for Taiga and Josee.♡ Taiga and Kumiko are such a belied (and tsundere!) but beautiful, doll-like, and tiger-like impression but at the same time a fragile princess. And though Aisaka seemed to be perfectly fine, Taiga was as much the same as Kumiko; she had that unableness and hindrance of achieving what she really wanted, and always with the impression of everything being out of reach… In fact the entire Toradora! had also trying to convey a message about that.
