There's the obvious similarity everyone and their mom has pointed out: Both of these series feature babies who are mentors to the protagonists. Menma and Reborn are both older than they actually appear to be and have a bullying-out-of-love relationship with the protagonists of their respective series.
But the similarities between YYH and KHR doesn't just stop there. It's a bit hackneyed to say, but both series give off a similar feel.
