Although the 2 dabble in different areas (Mnemosyne has more supernatural elements; Canaan has a bigger focus on scientific things), both have a very similar vibe to them, both have a lot of action, both are roughly the same length (while they may not have the same number of episodes, both will take you roughly the same amount of time to watch), both feature a lot of action, and both can be somewhat graphic at times (although Mnemosyne is much more graphic than Canaan).

Overall vibe is similar, although Mnemosyne is more on the supernatural side of things and Cannan on the scientific.
Preview for next episodes is also very much alike. So much so that it's basically the same thing.
The two leads being women, also the same.
If you want to see women being the leads and fighting, then one or the other should suit your taste.
