It's not as super "fighting and blood-spraying." I'd say it's more of the funny, has a group of grown to love friends like Gon, Killua, Kurapika, and Leorio. The main character Yuri reminds me similar to Gon, however, he's more serious and actually knows what the heck he's doing. Then, there's a character named Wolfram who actually sounds like Killua (though different voice actors) and is cute tsundere and is really cute like Killua. He's more willing to express the bashful things though.
It's a long journey like Hunter x Hunter but each episode is fun to watch and can be an emotional roller coaster,
