Similar fantasy setting anime with even similar plot development. Even the characters are similar and also how they think from battle strategy to there morals. Both anime's are solid and progress through the story.
The MC is both Millitary Genius. Almost every Aspect are the same but there is some DIfferences :
-In Madan The MC already an highlord but not Well Known / not very Popular
-Magic is one of strong attribute of Madan No Ou To Vanadis While the Magic In Nejimaki Seirei Senki is not a strong attribute of the Anime almost not exist at all. its like just ordinary Soldier Who always bring a cute little Flashlight.
-Fan Service is strong with this One.
