Ore Monogatari!!

Both have awesome MC, Harima and Takeo, it's nearly impossible to not like them. I rarely enjoy rom-com but for some reason I like both series because : they are funny, characters are lovable and some heartwarming scenes here and there.
School Rumble is another romantic comedy anime that focuses on the lives of two high school teenagers. It definitely has the whole beauty and the beast vibe where a brawly "not the typically considered attractive" guy falls in love with the cute girl. Sort of like in the beginning of Ore Monogatari, the male protagonist saves the female protagonist and their lives are intertwined. But I would say that would be where the comparisons end. Both animes are romantic comedies that are centered around high schoolers. The protagonists seem intimidating and people judge them. However they are actually kind, caring and hopeless romantics. The girls that they love are both bubbly, cute, kind and quite ditzy.
Personally, Ore Monogatari is the School Rumble that I wanted since School Rumble mainly has the main character tripping over his feet whenever he tries to ask the girl he likes out while Ore Monogatari has our love interests become a couple very early on.
