Both anime start off the same - an average looking high school girl, under pressure from society/friends for being single, lies to her "friends" about her boy friend, who coincidentally is an extremely handsome man. So while everybody goes gaga over him, only his "girlfriend" knows the truth about his true nature as a person.
However, while Kare Baka is a mindless comedy meant for shits and giggles, Wolf Girl actually has a story that moves forward, with the biggest focus being on the developing feelings between our MC and her fake boyfriend.
